  • "We had such a lovely week at Runswick."

The accommodation is beautiful and kept to a very high standard. There is everything you can think of and need for a weeks stay. The beds were super comfy and the cottage was so spacious. The only thing to note about the listing would be the layout of the twin bedroom is different to the pictures and the living room is so spacious it would benefit from a lamp on the fire/tv side of the room. Not that this anything of concern. We would definitely book again if we were able to get a similar deal on the price.

  • "We really enjoyed our stay."

The house was great. The garden was fantastic and the bedrooms were very nicely decorated and very spacious. The only negative for us as a family with a just turned 3 year old was that there wasn't a highchair, which we felt was extra necessary in containing any mess. We always take our own pressure fit baby gates. So we were able to keep the kitchen area closed off too. We would highly reccomended this property and would stay here again.

Hi, thank you for the feedback. We do have a high chair and travel cot available for guests. We are not given the ages of any children on booking so tend to offer them for infants. Property Owner

We had 4 adults and 1 dog in our party and absolutely loved staying here. Our dog loved having the large garden and gated driveway to run round. On arrival there was a beautiful home made cake along with a hamper of goodies from host Sally. Who popped in to say Hi on our first day. Sally is very friendly happy lady who gave us some tips on where to go for days out. Sitting in a small quiet village of Sinnington, only a short drive from Pickering. There is a pub in the village that serves food and is dog friendly. Sadly we can't comment on the food as we only had drinks here. However we did eat out at the Middleton Arms just a short drive away. Even though they only open from Thursday to Sunday, Wendy's food is worth waiting for. The welcoming atmosphere and jokes we had with Andy behind the bar, also made our night. Will definitely return here when next staying at Runswick. We had some lovely days out to all the beautiful surrounding towns and villages during our weeks stay. We can definitely say we will return to Runswick and would recommend to anyone.
