The property

Tucked away in the countryside of the EROY on the outskirts of Full Sutton near Stamford Bridge, is the newly converted West Wing apartment.

It has been converted within the west wing of a large country house, and provides high end accommodation for discerning couples.

The apartment is ideal for a couples break.

The annex offers ample off-road parking, and is set within easy reach of the area's sights, including the historic city of York.

Make your way into the cosy entrance hall and climb the stairs to find a stylish open-plan living space, with a new contemporary fully fitted kitchen finished in moonlight blue with matching breakfast bar and appliances.

The sleek breakfast bar is where you can tuck into these romantic meals for two; why not crack open a bottle of wine to accompany them?

The sitting area has been designed with relaxation in mind, with a sofa ready for you to lounge on as you watch your favourite show on the Smart TV and the flames of the fire warm your toes.

There is also LED mood lighting installed for you to dim and set which colour you find the most restful, set against the flickering fire and candles.

When night falls, move across the first floor to find the well-presented double bedroom, where you can snuggle up after a day packed with countryside ramblings.

There is a stylish en-suite attached which has a state of the art walk in shower, and illuminated full size mirror, to compliment the new traditional fittings throughout.

The property's interior is completed by a ground-floor cloakroom, for additional convenience.

After spending the day in the countryside and making the most of the wider area, finish it off with a soothing soak in the hot tub; a perfect spot to unwind anytime of year.

The hot tub is situated inside a self contained outdoor room which enables sheltered use of the hot tub and total privacy.

Use the internal and external LED mood lighting of the hot tub to create your own cosy hideaway, and enjoy the many features the top of the range hot tub offers, including jet massage, waterfall, and lounge seating within.

When you don't feel up to cooking, travel a short distance to Fangfoss to find The Carpenters Arms, a placing serving up hearty meals and local ale, whilst also resting near the Jubilee Park, where you can embark on a peaceful stroll.

About the location

STAMFORD BRIDGE

York 8.5 miles.

Stamford Bridge, as its name suggests, was a fording point over the River Derwent for a Roman settlement. Nowadays, it is a village with a selection of shops and restaurants and is notable for a renovated railway viaduct, which is now used as a cycle and public footpath. The village is well known as the site of the Battle of Stamford Bridge on 25th September 1066, which marked the end of the Viking era in Britain. Within easy reach are the pretty Yorkshire market towns of Malton, Beverley and Driffield and within an hour’s drive is the unspoilt coastal resort of Filey with open beaches and the nearby RSPB nature reserve at Bempton.

Please note the property is adult only - no infants accepted.
