    “Fabulous location & property!”

The property is in a great location with 2 village shops and a children's play area a 5-minute walk away. By car it is 5-minutes to Robin Hood's Bay, less than 15 minutes to Whitby and 25 minutes to Scarborough.

By car it is 5-minutes to Robin Hood's Bay, less than 15 minutes to Whitby and 25 minutes to Scarborough. The house is very clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The heating quickly warms the house and there is also a log burner, which was ready to light on our arrival. There is a large, safe, garden for children to play and a large driveway with gates.

The property

This wonderful semi-detached cottage is set within the village of Fylingthorpe, less than a mile from Robin Hood's Bay.

Visit this cottage to escape the rush of your everyday, providing a getaway of relaxation but with plenty of picturesque sights to see.

Rustle up a sumptuous feast from the cottage style kitchen, kitted out with a state-of-the-art range cooker and plenty of worktop space to assist you, while the oak dining table is the perfect place to gather during mealtimes.

After a satisfying meal, head to the sitting room and relax in the leather sofas, perhaps utilising the woodburning stove if the weather turns cold.

The bedrooms can be found upstairs, including a king-size double with views of Robin Hood Bay, offering a picturesque view to wake up to.

There are also two twins which are perfect for children, as well as a family bathroom serving these bedrooms.

Discover the garden and enjoy a BBQ as the sun sets across the bay.

A short walk into the village will bring you to a popular village pub and a general store which sells local produce, while a little further afield brings you to Robin Hood’s Bay, with its quaint cottages, cobbled streets and sandy cove.

About the location

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY

Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
