2 Whinny Hill is a homely cottage in a splendid location.

It is a roomy, semi-detached house set in an idyllic, rural location, five miles from Whitby and North Yorkshire’s coast.

If you are looking for a relaxing break or a fun-filled outdoor holiday in the North York Moors, then this is the place for you to come and stay with friends and family.

A narrow country lane brings you to the property, spend your much-needed down time in the cosy sitting room with plenty of comfortable seating, a fabulous multi-fuel stove and a TV to sit and watch after a lengthy day of trekking the nearby walking paths.

If you want to get away from it all with a good book, head to the delightful snug room.

The modern and stylish conservatory is also a great spot to unwind and enjoy the sun beaming down on you.

The well-appointed kitchen/diner comes with everything that you may need during your stay, including a TV to keep you entertained whilst cooking a feast of delights for your loved ones. The four charming bedrooms rest on the first floor, and all come with pleasant, homely bed linen and furnishing.

Some even benefit from incredible views of the surrounding countryside and one even has far-reaching sea views, what better sight to wake up to each morning? The interior is complete with a stylish family bathroom.

Make the most of the delightful enclosed rear garden, a wonderful spot for the children and dogs to run around, play and let off steam.

Whitby is just a short drive away or if you enjoy walking, the Cleveland way offers the tranquillity of some truly stunning cliff top views.

A 3 mile walk along the Cleveland Way takes you to the scenic village of Sandsend with its restaurants, cafes, traditional cottages and pubs.

The other direction takes you to the fishing village of Runswick Bay.

The house is ideal for families who enjoy the outdoors, walkers and dog walkers and is close to a local dog-friendly pub.

For those outdoor enthusiasts, venture into the heart of the North York Moors with its seemingly-endless scenery and opportunities to trek, cycle and spot wildlife.

The owners can arrange relaxing Reiki Treatments at the Reiki Studio or a visit to the local Stained Glass workshop.
