It is a well equipped and comfortable bungalow. On this visit we did have problems with the shower, the water was too hot to stand under and we weren't able to alter/regulate the temperature. We contacted the owner who came to look at it as soon as he had finished work. It appeared to be okay when he checked it at 5.45pm but the next day it was still scalding for our showers between 8.00 - 9.00 am. This continued for the rest of the holiday. I did let the owner know and he was going back to look at it again after we had vacated the property. The bath taps were working properly but neither my sister or myself can get in and out of a bath due to arthritis. Sea Dreams is in a perfect location for the beach, shops and takeaway restaurants. Once the shower issue is sorted I would definitely recommend this property. Reviewed by DebraApr 2022 "We had a great stay in this lovely bungalow." If there was one thing that I think might help would be a small piece of false grass or a shallow rectangle patch of small pebbles… would be helpful for people with dogs. I regularly took the Shih Tzu out for walks to have a wee, but when the dog maybe wanted to have a little wee the back patio was just flags as was the front and I can empathise with the ease of that, I too have a paved back patio, but I bought a small piece of false grass for the dog to wee on in emergencies. Just a thought?????? Reviewed by SusanJun 2021 "Very comfortable property in a quiet residential area, convenient for visiting not only Bridlington but the surrounding visitors attractions." A minor problem upon arrival was swiftly dealt with. Some indication of recycling would have been appreciated Reviewed by JeanJun 2021 "We had a great holiday at Sea Dreams." Lovely quiet area and didn't feel like you were on an estate. The bungalow was warm and welcoming. Beds and huge sofa in the sitting room very comfortable. Perfect for a dog with the enclosed back garden area. There is lots to do and see in the area despite the current lockdown restrictions. It was helped by the fantastic weather we had, sunshine every day from morning until night. Reviewed by DawnApr 2021 "This was my first holiday booking through Sykes Cottages and I will definitely be booking again!" We stayed in Bridlington at Sea Dreams and this bungalow exceeded my expectations. The interior decoration was carefully thought out and finished to a high standard. The beds and sofas were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The location was great, only 1.6 miles to South Beach and the Harbour. The bungalow is in a crescent and is in a quiet area. It was my first holiday with my dog and it worked very well. There is parking on the drive, though I found this quite tight so chose to park on the road outside. Reviewed by DebraOct 2020 "Beautifully decorated bungalow." Spotless clean. Big comfy sofa.
