The cottage

Malton 5 miles.

A stylish, beautifully renovated converted chapel in the small rural village of Great Habton five miles from the historic market town of Malton in North Yorkshire.

Retaining many character features, such as fantastic original beams and high ceilings as well as original stained glass windows to the front and rear aspect of the cottage, making a wonderful place for families or small groups of friends to get together.

On entering the property, you arrive in an open plan spacious sitting room with plenty of comfy sofas in front of a welcoming woodburner, making a wonderful place to relax after a full day out and about exploring the area.

The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed to prepare some lovely home-cooked meals as well as a large dining table and chairs, with an original church pew for extra character.

The open tread stairs lead to a mezzanine landing with fantastic views of the top and bottom of the chapel.

There are two well-furnished bedrooms, with the many character features, one with an en-suite shower room as well as a separate bathroom also.

To the outside is a small patio area with furniture, making a lovely place for some alfresco dining or just a relax with a glass of something chilled.
