We were attending a christening at the minster in Beverly and this was our first opportunity to have the whole family together. The facilities of the property have been very thoughtfully chosen. The decor is welcoming and you immediately feel "at home". My family and I had a superb stay at Hall Garth, it's a pity we didn't have the entire week to fully appreciate the facilities and surrounding area. Reviewed by AnthonyMay 2022 "Outstanding property, we loved the quiet location and everything about the house." The attention to detail was awesome and welcome gifts were a lovely bonus including flowers, wine and cake. A special place to meet up with family or friends. Reviewed by SueApr 2022 "Beautiful house, excellently set up." Couldn't ask for more. Reviewed by RichardApr 2022 "Such a fabulous house that literally has everything you need!" Very clean and welcoming - just one minor issue was how cold our room was, if you like a cold room then the one with the bathtub in is the one for you, if not then make sure you wrap up! All in all we had a fantastic stay and would recommend! Reviewed by SophieFeb 2022 "Wow. What an amazing house!" We stayed for the weekend as we’re all turning 30 this year & couldn’t have asked for a better venue. Spotlessly clean & I don’t think the pictures actually do justice to how beautiful it is! A great mix of old & new. Facilities were brilliant. Thank you for an amazing stay - can’t recommend enough! Reviewed by BeckyFeb 2022 "Had a fantastic stay." House was exactly as it’s shown on the pictures. So stunning and I was also very clean and we had everything and more that we needed in terms of facilities. Would highly recommend. The views outside were also breathtaking. Reviewed by TanyaDec 2021 "As a group we have been visiting properties of this size for 11 years and without a shadow of a doubt this has been the best." The house was spotless and felt welcoming. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped and allowed us to enjoy making meals and providing a dining experience. Thank you to the property owners for allowing us to enjoy such a wonderful place Reviewed by JackNov 2021 "Fantastic property" Reviewed by CarolineOct 2021 "The house was amazing." Beautifully equipped and had everything our large family group could ask for. The children loved playing hide and seek and the snooker table was a huge success with all the family. A wonderful half term break. Reviewed by JackieOct 2021 "Fantastic house." Everything you could need for a large get together including a small snooker table in the boot room. The two dishwashers were certainly welcome with 14 people in the house. Beautifully decorated yet welcoming. Very helpful owner. Can't recommend it enough. Reviewed by RuthSep 2021 "We were a family group of 14 adults and twin eight month old babies." The facilities and cleanliness of this property were outstanding and exceeded our expectations. The bedroom accommodation easily met our needs without compromise. Clearly the owners had put a lot of thought into the layout of the property and the equipment needed by a large party. A minor issue with the fire protection system was dealt with effectively by the owners who responded immediately. Great holiday, thanks. Reviewed by DavidAug 2021 "Just one little disappointment - the bedroom on the ground floor was lovely but the en suite was not disabled friendly - no grab rails and the shower was not suitable for less abled." To be fair it did not state that it was for disabled but we had assumed as it was groundfloor that it would at least be disabled friendly and I suspect others might do the same. Reviewed by GeorginaJul 2021 "Hall Garth is an amazing farmhouse just outside the village of Leven, and near to Beverley, in the beautiful East Riding of Yorkshire." The farmhouse has been extensively and professionally renovated to the best standard of decor and equipment that we have enjoyed in any one of numerous luxury holiday rentals both in the UK and overseas. The owners and hosts, Katie and John, were extremely helpful and kind, even to the extent of installing a temporary second fridge and providing a kitchen mixer from their own farmhouse for the preparation of my 70th Birthday celebrations by the family. We had a delightful late summer week there with three generations of our family, visiting the beaches and going for walks along the stunning East Coast of Yorkshire. The beautiful market town of Beverley, with its ancient Minster and Saturday Market, makes for a good trip out, as does The Deep Aquarium in Hull, fish-and-chips in Hornsea, crabbing in Bridlington. Further afield, you will find the bustle of Scarborough, the splendour of the North York Moors, the breath-taking views of Flamborough Head, and the attractive, historic town of Whitby famous for its Goth culture and as the fictional location for Bram Stoker’s Dracula to terrorise Mina Murray in Britain! Reviewed by RobinSep 2020 "An exceptionally well resourced and high quality kitchen." Wonderfully clean and well appointed throughout. Plenty of space inside and out. Well positioned to explore Beverly, Hull, Spurn Point and the south-east Yorkshire coast. Reviewed by PatriciaSep 2020 "This is a wonderful welcoming and comfortable house." It is ideal for adults and children alike. Everything is lovely and to a high standard. We especially loved the kitchen which was the hub of our stay, and the little sitting room just off was ideal for the children to escape to after a meal whilst we leisurely finished our coffees. The kitchen has everything that you could need. We had a mixture of weathers but still managed to get out and enjoy the BBQ area and the gardens. The front garden is ideal for rounders! The village shop has a wide selection of items if you run short. The little ones were fascinated by the light aircraft flying overhead to the nearby airfield, the harvesters in the fields and a buzzard that flew very low circling over the house in addition to the rabbits and pheasants on the front lawn. The only thing that I could suggest bringing is an adaptor plug should you use an electric toothbrush or an electric shaver. Reviewed by KathleenAug 2020 "We had the most amazing holiday and the house was absolutely stunning, we didn't want to leave it." It was really well furnished and very luxurious, the carpets all appeared brand new and every appliance in the kitchen was to a very high standard. It was pure luxury. We all had plenty of space with really large bedrooms and beautifully appointed bathrooms. As we were the first visitors to the house since Coronavirus virus erupted it was sad to arrive to find no games, books or things to do the in the area but completely understand why this was. As it was we didn't really leave the house anyway due to shielding etc, we had taken our 80 year old mother there for her birthday and therefore we wanted to protect her as much as possible, not that there was very much open to visit anyway. We did however make full use of the house whilst we were there which was amazing, we played rounders, ultimate frizbee, tennis, Mulkee, we went running down the lane to the small airport, we played lots of indoor games too, jigsaw puzzles, one day all the kids did a bake off which supplied us with fabulous puddings all week. We had one night where we all dressed up and used the formal dining room. We used the bbq a few nights too. There is nothing negative we could say about this house, we loved every minute of it. We would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it. The owners of the property were at the end of the phone if you needed anything and were very helpful. We rarely return to the same place as its a small world but we would certainly recommend to our friends to use this and I think we might return again on this occasion as it was so well appointed and to see the area properly. It really worked well for our family and everyone enjoyed it. Thank you so much. Reviewed by LesleyJul 2020 "A beautiful house in stunning surroundings." The house was spotlessly clean ,superbly furnished and decorated with more than enough cooking utensils,,crockery and cutlery and everything else you could possibly want. Our group ages ranged from 8-66 and even though there was plenty of space in the house for everyone we spent a lot of together time in the gorgeous kitchen or outside on the patio. We played games outside in the garden most evenings and spent our days visiting lots of different beaches around about, fishing at a local pool and the Minster and St Mary’s church in Beverly are well worth a visit. Reviewed by SusanJul 2020 "A beautiful house." Clean, really well equipped. Great for hide and seek! We really enjoyed it and the area. Would love to go back one day. Reviewed by SiobhanFeb 2020 "We had a lovely weekend, despite the rain, in this stunning property." It was spotlessly clean, spacious, warm and the kitchen was amazingly well equipped. The owner was very helpful and provided fresh flowers, a home baked cake and Prosecco for our arrival. She also showed us the easiest place to charge our electric vehicle.
