"We loved the nest - a well equipped, cosy hide away."
Good WiFi, nice little kitchen with a fabulous view. We thought it was much nicer than the pictures led us to believe. My only comment would be that the bunks were quite flimsy and didn't take the weight of my 13yo. She had to sleep on the floor :(

"A really nice cosy cottage with fantastic views."
Everything was very clean. The bottle of prosecco was very welcomed also lots of other little extras that were very handy. Just a short walk to shops and everything we needed. The only downside for us was the garden access which was a priority for us with a dog and not really suitable, also the road could be busy at times. But apart from that we had a really nice holiday. Thank you.

"We had a wonderful stay at The Nest."
From the moment we entered and our dog found the treat that had been left for her we all felt at home. Everything we needed had been thought of and the house was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the shower was great, the kitchen had all we needed for any meal we had and the living room was cosy. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to visit this part of the country.
Thank You for your lovely review. We're glad that you enjoyed your stay and that everything was to your liking. Comments like these make all the hard work worthwhile. We hope to have you stay again. Property Owner

"We missed a teapot so we added one to the inventory from the local charity shop."
We missed some small cups to drink coffee too, we are Dutch.... The cottage was cosy, we used the firestove. It takes a little knowledge to make it work. Haworth is awesome.
Hi, We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at The Nest. Thank you for the tea pot, I am sure it will be quite useful!. We hope to have you stay again. Darren & Sharron Feather. Property Owner

"Cosy, clean, comfortable cottage."
Kitchen was very small. All essentials provided, though some may struggle with washing machine (not working) and dryer in the cellar. Listing mentioned off road parking but the car port wasn't accessible. The garden looked nice but you had to go out the front door, along the pavement, through the car port, through a gate and down steep steps. Wasn't really suitable for dogs. Haworth a bit too far away on foot for us. Lovely views. House keeper was very helpful.
Hi, We're sorry to hear that the washing machine wasn't working upon your visit, We encourage all of our guests to report any issues to our housekeeper as soon as possible so we can rectify them. I'm not sure why the car port wasn't accessible because there should only be the 3 waste bins stored at the back of the car port which can easily be moved if they are obstructing the driveway, Again we apologise if this caused you any inconvenience. I have since asked the housekeeper to ensure that the bins are kept to the back of the car port to avoid future obstruction. There is nothing we can do regarding the steps down to the garden as the property sits on a valley, We haven't had any other reports with the steps being a problem for dogs but we will certainly keep our eyes open for any future issues. Thank you for your feedback, We do appreciate all feedback as it helps us to maintain a good standard and allows people to continue enjoying their holidays. Regards, Darren & Sharron. Property Owner

"Lovely small cosy cottage, park right outside, with everything we needed for our few days in the area."
Appreciated the wine/chocs and delicious biscuits thanks. Amazing views from kitchen/bathroom. 10 min walk to shops/restaurants. The entrance to the garden is from front door then Through car port and down steps for those intending taking dogs.
Hi, We hope you enjoyed your stay, Thanks for the positive feedback. We hope you'll return soon!. Regards. Darren & Sharron Feather. Property Owner

"Really nice touch to find a little hamper waiting for us."
Cottage was clean and tidy and well equipped for our stay. Staff were on hand to help with my questions. Would definitely return.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Nest."
The views from the cottage are stunning and the cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The only criticism is the lack of space in the separate toilet, being on the taller side it was a bit tight. Also, the car port isn't really useable, but we had absolutely no problems parking on the road. We would definitely return!
Hi and Thank you for your feedback. We have since had the toilet knocked through into the bathroom because as well as your feedback we have also received a couple of other comments over the past 12 months regarding this, there is there is lots more room now in the bathroom/toilet. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner

"The Nest was the perfect location for our family and pet to explore Haworth over a long weekend."
We easily walked down into town to explore, eat, and shop. Additionally, we hiked for miles in the surrounding countryside. The Nest is warm and cozy. Support staff was so very kind and helpful!! We'll be back.
That's brilliant to hear, your feedback is much appreciated and I will ensure to pass it onto our team. We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your return. Thank You, The Feathers. Property Owner

"The cottage was very well equiped and very comfortable and warm The cleanliness was very good."
My only concern for myself was having to go out of the front door to reach the back of the house down some very steep steps..Other than that we had a lovely holiday.
Thank You for your feedback, We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at The Nest but also sorry to hear that the steps were a concern to you. We have had railings and a spot light for on an evening installed as we do take H&S very seriously. If you do return to Haworth then maybe try our neighbouring property Feathers Cottage as this also has a back door and the steps aren't quite as steep to the garden. Regards. Darren. Property Owner

About the location
HAWORTH
Skipton 13 miles; Hebden Bridge 8 miles.
The small village of Haworth was home to the famous Bronte sisters, who were inspired by the surrounding moorland to pen their novels, which have become classics of English Literature. Haworth is a village that time almost forgot, with its myriad of curiosity and antique shops, alleyways and cobbled streets creating a wonderful period atmosphere, all set against a framing backdrop of countryside famously described in the novel Wuthering Heights as wild, rugged and barren. Nearby, the famous Keighley and Worth Valley Railway, an authentic steam railway brought to prominence in the film The Railway Children, provides a lovely day out with a regular service to the old village of Oxenhope. The area abounds with popular places to visit, including the Bronte Parsonage Museum, East Riddlesden Hall, and the National Railway Museum in York. The market town of Skipton, often fondly regarded as the Gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is just a short drive away, and also within reach are elegant Harrogate and vibrant Leeds and Manchester.
