• "This property is a lovely modern house we booked last minute and not really the kind of place we would normally stay( not private enough for us )."

  It’s clean comfortable and has everything you need good outside space and a lovely welcome pack even a pack of treats for the dog ☺️ ( we couldn’t sit out much with our dog because the next doors dog barked at ours all the time we was out ).

• "This is a beautiful well looked after holiday home, infact the cleanest we've ever stayed in."

  Everything you need is there from crockery to clingfilm to tea and coffee. The garden furniture is great and useful on a sunny day. It is a shame there isn't a pub/ restaurant close by, as after a busy day don't want to walk the 25/30 mins into town and back. Would definitely recommend the the house.

• "The accommodation was very clean,comfortable and no problems."

  Emma was kind enough to text me on the Friday to say we could get in our accommodation at 1230pm if we wanted. No one has ever done that. I enjoyed our holiday at Saltburn by the sea and bonus we had good weather!

• "Saltburn Sanctuary was a wonderful house to stay in."

  Spotlessly clean with a lovely welcome pack in the kitchen. The beds were very comfy. A great place to explore North Yorkshire. Emma the host has made sure this is a home from home for guests. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again .

• "A very comfortable, warm and cosy house."

  It was impressively clean and Emma, the owner, kept in touch and was helpful. The second bedroom is short on storage but as there is plenty in the master then between family or friends this isn’t much of an issue. The house/area guide is extremely useful and it’s not far to walk into town or drive to other locations. We are already booked for a return visit.

• "We had a great time at Saltburn by the sea cottage, a welcome basket and treats for our dog has a lovely touch too."

  Lovely clean and comfortable settee and beds comfy too. The weather was good too until Thursday afternoon, great walks to the sea and beach and easy reach to the town too. We will definitely come back again , Emma has made this a lovely property to stay in and made us feel welcome with a welcome basket a great place to stay. We will be back in the future for sure. Thank you Emma for letting us stay in your beautiful house.

• "This is a lovely property that was spotless and has everything you need."

  It is just a mile out of Saltburn town. The living area downstairs was spacious and welcoming and also had a lovely enclosed garden. The information pack is excellent and up-to-date. The house itself is ideal for a family. The en-suite bedroom is beautiful with lots of storage and even lamps with usb points. The en-suite bathroom was lovely and an added bonus. The second bedroom could be improved with some extra storage such as a dressing table or wardrobe as the clothes rail was not sufficient for 2 single adults (as we were). Perhaps moving the twin beds to adjacent walls under the window would give the extra space needed. The main upstairs bathroom is lovely, we didn’t use the hand held shower as it leaked, but that can be easily sorted and we didn’t feel the need to contact the owner on this minor point. The house was also lovely and warm. This is a beautiful house and the welcome back was an extra treat. We also got a text advising we could arrive a few hours earlier than required. We would definitely book this property again if we were coming back to this lovely area.

• "We had a wonderful week staying in this amazing house."

  Credit to both the host for the furnishing and decor, and the architect for the design. The house was extremely comfortable, warm and dry, with a comfy sofa and bed, and easy to move around within. Lights and sockets in all the right places, wide doorways and staircase. A thoughtful welcome basket on arrival. Well equipped kitchen, with appliances that worked well. (I have a bagful of items I've learnt to take to holiday homes, that has items that are sometimes missing, small bars of soap to cloakrooms, spare loo roll, dishwasher tablets, cooking foil etc. But I didn't need to use any of it). Plenty of space to unpack personal possessions and to put groceries in the kitchen cupboards. Nice garden that was fully enclosed for our elderly medium sized dog. Easy to park at the house and no local traffic problems getting into or out of the area it is in. Oh and my husband had no complaints about the available TV channels either. We don't visit Yorkshire often but if the Saltburn Sanctuary is still available next time we do visit then I would certainly book again.

• "Had a fantastic stay in Saltburn, the house was lovely and a lovely welcome gift from the owner, even treats for the pooch."

  I would like to suggests a couple of things though, usually when dogs are welcome there is always a dog bowl which this property didnt have so we had to go out and buy one also we noticed no pizza cutter in the drawer just a couple of minor things which didnt impact on our holiday. would definitely stay again

  It’s a fair old walk to the beach but there’s free parking on Marine Parade and the walk from the path through the woods is glorious. The house was perfect for us and very comfortable. Very happy!

• "I had a lovely stay at Saltburn Sanctuary, The house was immaculate, very comfortable beds and sofa, great TV, with everything you could possibly need kitchen wise."

  The only negative things were lack of blackout curtains in the bedrooms and nowhere to dry wet clothes (it rained quite a lot). Emma was very helpful when I had a problem with the TV remote and we sorted it out very quickly. I would definitely go to stay there again!

• "Very modern, comfortable house with everything you could want."

  So clean, smelt lovely as you walk in. Bed very comfortable. Everything immaculate. There is a real sun trap at the bottom of the garden. Ideal for walking, had some really lovely walks on the beach, and there were different routes to get there so didn't get bored. Will hopefully return.

  One small niggle! The under sink cabinet in the ensuite is not fitted correctly and was very much in the way. It is not utilised and would be better removed.

• "So glad we dug our car out of the snow and made it to this warm cosy house."

  Thank you for the most generous welcome pack we've ever seen. Everything was clean and so comfortable, sofas,bed,three bathrooms,fluffy towels, good shower and deep bath. All the comforts which we really appreciated. The enclosed garden is perfect for our dog. A quiet location and perfect for visiting all our favourite places round about .   The quiet area was great but with lovely walks to the sea front. Super comfy, couch and bed and lovely secure garden perfect for the dog. The place was super clean. Would definitely stay here again.
