  • "Overall it was a lovely stay, property and hot tub was very clean and appreciated."

Three things that was a bit of a let down, one was the uncomfortable bed and the quality of the bedding, we had to purchase a topper as the mattress was far too hard. The chalet could be enhanced with cooking facilities in addition to the microwave. Lastly Wi-Fi is a must these days especially if tv has Netflix. All in all though we really enjoyed our stay and will be booking again in the future

  • "What a great place to stay."

Highly recommend . Just a couple of points definitely not complaints. 1) maybe some sort of covering for the hottub just so it can be used all year round. 2) maybe provide dressing gowns just to go to and from the hottub. The dawny pub just down the road does amazing food especially if you have a big appetite. Wonderful stay. Would go all year round if hot tub has a cover. Will definitely be booking again.

Thanks for your feedback, the Chalets are newly renovated and have only been available for three weeks now, we take on board all feedback and nearer the time we may look at the benefits of patio areas being covered. We will be looking at providing quick drying throws for the patio areas on the back of your comments. Thank you Luxury Leisure Parks Management Team Property Owner

  • "Just had a 2 night stay at Chalet 5, and I must say the Property has the potential to be very nice however a few major points have let it down for us."

1 - the hot tub, the private patio area itself is very nice and private, however the tub needed a very good clean, after opening the cover on the first evening we noticed the water was already very cloudy, to the point you could not see your hands, we also found a bottle top on the bottom of the tub which was not from us, when the jets are on the tub fills up with bubbles to the point they was almost overflowing within minutes, and lastly the smell, we cut our tub time short because after using the tub the second time we noticed a nasty odour coming from the tub. 2 - the towels, we was only given 3 towels in total, 1 being a hand towel, 1 medium sized and then 1 large bath towel. The hand towel had to be used as a bath mat due to the fact the floor was in the bathroom slippery and no mat was provided. This also meant we had 1 towel per person for both the tub and the shower which was not very hygienic. 3 - the bed, the sheets were fresh and clean however the mattress seemed poor quality meaning it sunk in the middle making it an uncomfortable nights sleep. The car parking, location, kitchenette area and views were all good, the power went out whilst we were there and the owner was quick to sort this issue and update us accordingly however these 3 problems have left us feeling disappointed as the property itself is very clean and done to a good standard, as previously mentioned it has the potential to be a very good stay however I have left today feeling very dissatisfied.

  • "The property wasn't listed accurately at all."

The listing appeared to offer walks, local amenities and has views of the countryside. When we pulled up to the site, there was an obvious odour which remained the whole time we were there.. and there was also a strong odour from the chalet. There wasn't anything in the chalet (like info guide etc) to offer any 'things to do' close by, and as there wasn't any WiFi we was able to look at what was available. The pub that was advertised wasn't open. Don't feel that this property was at all like advertised. Very very disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback This is a great place for walking with Wolds walk a few minutes drive or a 10 minute walk away, Dalby Forest 15 minutes drive The park itself is in the countyside surrounded by fields and we occasionally get countryside smells! We do now provide information on local amenities, where to eat, places of interest takeaway menus, tourist leaflets and pub opening times which is season driven. Wi-fi is a service currently waiting on being installed and will be advertised once available. Luxury Leisure Parks Property Owner
