“Generally very good accommodation, bathroom needs a bit of updating, radiator was very rusty and it wouldn’t cost much to change this.”

There is a jacuzzi bath which I used, it was very vigorous, and after a while I turned it down to a lower setting. In the morning I had bruising on my back with the exact pattern and spacing of the jets. I reported it to reception, and was met with a line of questions that seemed to indicate somehow it was my fault. “Did I lay down” “did I have it on full “ the tone was defensive. Later I was asked to come to reception to complete an incident form, I did and then explained that my morning had been spoiled by the line of questioning earlier, I was then told “no he was just trying to find out the facts”. I would have been quite happy with an apology and someone looking into the situation. I have always thought it’s not what happens it’s how you deal with it, and from a customer service point of view I came away with no resolution only a bad feeling. I f they can reflect and improve, then apart from a little update I would recommend the accommodation.

The property

Beverley 4.5 miles.

This spacious, ground floor barn conversion, on a holiday park is set just 4.5 miles from Beverley, in East Yorkshire.

It is a beautiful holiday base for families, friends and couples touring the area.

The bright, social kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar and two stools, as well as a dining table offers a lovely spot to catch up on the day with a piping hot meal.

The room has exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, and is well-equipped for preparing home-cooked food and fun picnics with local produce.

There is a lovely sitting room where everyone can gather to chat or simply relax with a good book, whilst at the other side of the property are two wonderful bedrooms.

The twin room has an en-suite shower, and the master bedroom has a king-size bed, a double sofa bed and an en-suite spa bath where you can soothe aching muscles after a long walk.

There is also a feature barn door and a marvellous brick wall that works as a half partition between the two halves of the room.

Retaining its character, this side of the barn was originally a pig sty and you can still see the opening in the brick wall, where the pigs could move from one half to the other!

While you are staying at this delightful holiday park, you can enjoy the on-site facilities included.

Why not play a round of golf on the nine-hole golf course, explore an array of wildlife on one of the nature trails and even a day relaxing beside the pond with your fishing rod, ready to catch something from the well-stocked waters.

You can also explore the delights of Beverley and further afield are the cities of York and Leeds.

An excellent choice for visitors to East Yorkshire!
