Rosie the cleaner did speak with you about that saying if you left it out side the front door she would have picked it up and taken it away also there were two phone numbers at your disposal of two people you could’ve called at any time of the day and we would’ve taken care of this i’am sorry John . • "This is a wonderful apartment, so nice we have booked it again for next year."

Genuinely can’t fault it, location great, very short walk to beach and about ten minutes walk in to centre of Bridlington. This gives you plenty of access but also the quieter bit of being just outside the thick of it. Only tiny minor is the cooker, it’s a bit like my gran had, I think it might even be the one my gran had

Location, facilities and the little extra touches make it a wonderful holiday apartment. Since our previous visit here certain things have changed. The new TV in the lounge is brilliant with Netflix, and Youtube included, the TV in the bedroom is much larger, the internet is faster and a stronger signal, and the dining chairs have been replaced, even dog bowls are provided! If you look at a previous holidaymakers review where some of these were mentioned the owners have taken note of comments. We will happily be returning again to Sandy Shore.

  • "The apartment was really very clean."

Everything you could possibly need was supplied. It was lovely to have a full size fridge/freezer which enabled us to buy all our shopping on the first day, most holiday flats we have stayed in only have a small fridge with a tiny ice box which means multiple trips to the supermarket through the week. The luxury of a washing machine and tumble dryer allowed me to do a couple of loads before going home. The little touches were really appreciated e.g. dishwasher tablets, washing machine powder/capsules, fresh flowers, wine and biscuits upon arrival. The location is brilliant, very quiet at night. The beach is only a couple of minutes across the road. I can highly recommend the walk down to Fraisthorpe along the beach to see the WW2 sea defences and pillboxes. The Lobster Pot pub/restaurant was also a pleasant walk. The railway station is easily reached on foot from here. At night the south promenade is well lit, so no problems taking the dog out late at night. Bridlington is a great location with beautiful beaches and plenty of litter bins (essential when you have a dog). We have been coming to Brid for 30 years and still love it. I would highly recommend the apartment and hope to be booking again soon, it really is a gem of a place for dog owners.

Dog friendly beach and easy access to the Promenade. On site parking was a real convenience. As was the availability of seating along the full coastal area, and due to back injuries I found the ready seating a real boon. The accommodation was second to none. many thanks to Mr J Fitzherbert for going more than an extra mile in providing such thoughtful and welcoming place to stay. • "You advertised the accommodation as Welcoming Annexe cottage but when we arrived it was a ground floor flat in a large house with a bigger second floor flat above, our experience of renting holiday flats/ accommodation is not good therefore WE DO NOT RENT them."

for your info an annex is a building attached to the main building not part of a house, your staff had visited the property to advise on fire precautions carbon detectors etc and should have seen the type of accommodation. The layout and cleanliness was very good the bed very comfortable very impressed on arrival, a short walk to the sea front off road parking about twenty minutes walk to the center of Bridlington with its long sandy beach, plenty of places to eat out. There were problems I noticed there were none recorded in the visitors book but the owners advised in the information book which was helpful to ring Tony if we experience any. We did the toilet seat was very unstable, the shower only produced hot water not adjustable only the showers pressure, even so I tried to have one then it went cold and unable to adjust, as a plumber who had installed one of the same type in my home this shower needed replacing. the extractor fan did not work in the bathroom and the window being locked caused towels etc to be damp. When we stayed in and went to use the tin opener it was in a disgusting state and need of replacement, it makes me wonder if anyone checks between rentals, we check every room is as we found it before leaving.
