The picturesque fishing village of Runswick Bay is just one mile away and offers a sandy cove with opportunities for fossilling and rock pooling, always a big hit with the children!

Take a bracing cliff-top walk on the Cleveland Way with superb coastal views, or explore the nearby seaside town of Whitby, steeped in history, with its narrow, cobbled streets, interesting shops and famous abbey.

On the edge of the North York Moors, this bright and homely cottage makes an ideal base for walking, touring or simply visiting the pretty coastal towns and villages.
