The property

An elegant, Victorian property perched in the charming coastal town of Hornsea, Hornsea Terrace, enjoys a central location, just a stone's throw away from the sandy beach.

This mid-terrace cottage is based over three floors, with aesthetic fireplaces, high ceilings and hard wooden floors, Hornsea Terrace is brimming with character and makes a lovely base for both family and friends.

Park up on the roadside as you admire the refreshing sea-air and move your luggage inside the wonderful abode with ease.

Enter through the vintage black door to discover the spacious entrance hallway, where you can house your sandy shoes and raincoats ready for a seaside adventure.

Step into the pretty sitting room, with a plush sofa and armchair to unwind in after a day exploring Hornsea, and a TV with Sky for your entertainment or take advantage of the Sky multi-room package.

From here, the open-plan space invites you to walk through the sophisticated dining area, where you can settle down to tuck-into mouth-watering dishes and catch-up on the day.

Find the well-equipped kitchen area, hosting a toasty woodburning stove and additional seating to enjoy more television, whilst the designated chef makes use of the electric oven and gas hob to cook up a storm.

The kitchen area is bathed in natural light from the patio doors, which lead to the enclosed garden, where on warmer days you can enjoy an alfresco affair on the outdoor furniture.

As the evening draws to a close, retreat inside to the warmth and climb upstairs to the first floor to find the beautifully presented bathroom, relish a leisurely soak in the tub and pour in the bubbles for a moment of relaxation.

Once you're ready to rest your head, choose between four adorned bedrooms, all double and providing a dresser to get ready and drawers to house your possessions.

The fourth bedroom can be found on the first floor, with sloped ceilings and a capacious layout, as well as a feature wall with a collection of mirrors.

In the morning, awaken with a refreshing rinse in the family bathroom before joining your guests in the social living space, with fantastic facilities to conjure a home-cooked breakfast.

Get better acquainted with your surroundings and head out on foot to discover a wealth of amenities just paces away, with a variety of independent cafes and restaurants to fuel the day ahead and be sure to browse the quirky gift shops for a souvenir, as well as an inviting leisure centre to keep you occupied.

Pack your buckets and spades and stroll along the golden sand of Hornsea Beach to relish the salty-sea air, or sporting enthusiasts may wish to spend the day at Hornsea Golf Club to put their putting skills to the test.

A scenic drive will lead you to the bustling town of Bridlington, home to two stunning beaches, The Bayle Museum, for an interactive learning experience and Sewerby Hall & Gardens to admire a Georgian country house with over 50 acres of woodland to explore.
