The cottage has a contemporary kitchen where you can prepare hearty breakfasts and delicious evening meals which can be enjoyed at the dining table in the sitting room.

With a lovely bay window, the sitting room is light and bright and provides a comfortable room to recharge your batteries and relax at the end of the day.

Upstairs are the two well-presented bedrooms which are a king-size double and a family room with a double and a single bed.

Outside there is a rear patio and guests have access to the communal grounds where you will find an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, steam room and a gym so no matter what the weather, there is something to keep everyone entertained.

Just a short walk takes you down to the nearby Blue Flag beach where you can spend the day with the family building sandcastles and walking along the shoreline.

The fishing town of Filey is just three miles away and is a delightful seaside resort with interesting shops, narrow lanes to explore and plenty of places to eat and drink.

About the location

FILEY

Scarborough 7.5 miles; Bridlington 11 miles.

Filey is a traditional English seaside resort with a friendly atmosphere, offering a restful holiday. A fishing town on the North East Coast, Filey has enjoyed a reputation of being a resort since Victorian times, set beside the magnificent Filey Bay, a long stretch of beautiful sand, with Filey Brigg and its shallow rockpools to the north. The town itself seems almost caught in a time warp, retaining much of its character with individual shops, narrow paths and ginnels. There is a small coble landing, a slipway where local fishermen keep their boats, plus delightful beach chalets that can be hired through the summer months. The bay is edged with two promenades and there are various gardens, where brass bands play on a Sunday afternoon. This small town is family orientated, with donkey rides available on the beach, children’s play areas, crazy golf and candy floss! Nearby, Flamborough Head boasts high cliffs with exhilarating walks and Bempton Cliffs are a haven for bird lovers. A short drive brings you to the busier town of Scarborough where for family fun you can visit the Alpamare Waterpark, a waterpark unlike anything the UK has ever seen before, as well as plenty to explore and discover in this lovely area.
