"Very well presented clean cottage with quality fixtures and fittings, in a good location close to pubs and a co-op store."
There was no designated parking but we got parked on the road virtually outside the door every time during our stay. If you are tall you will need to be mindful of the internal doors which are lower than usual but are in keeping with the age of the house and has been fully refurbished.
"Beech cottage is a beautifully decorated and maintained property in a lovel villag wth everything you could ask for in a holiday destination."

Train station a short walk away and has good connections Has good local shops and pubs which do get busy. Property well maintained.
"Lovely property in beautiful village."
Local people very friendly and helpful. And hosts excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Transport links from the village were good with bus and train and fantastic walks around from the cottage. Must not forget to mention the 4 pubs in the village catering for different tastes. It is the type of working village that would make a lovely home.
"One of the best cottages we have stayed in."

Lovely well equipped kitchen and the whole place was very homely
"Lovely cottage, the layout is a little quirky."
Well equipped large kitchen- diner - but also lots of places to eat out near by if you don't want to cook. The bus service worked well for us. If you are vegan we recommend trying the Seabirds in Flamborough village.
"An extremely clean and comfortable cottage that is a credit to the owners."
Lots of amenities in the village and surrounding area.
"Everything you could possibly need was in the cottage."
Was spotlessly clean through out, great base to explore all of the coast .10 out of 10
"High quality and very comfortable cottage in a quiet location."
Beech cottage is beautifully finished and has everything you want. The owners are very accommodating and friendly but left us to enjoy our stay. Location is great for the coast and other attractions. There was plenty of space for our party of 4 adults but would suit a family with children or teens too. The additional snug room was cosy and great for an extra space to chill out. A fab stay and would highly recommend.
"A great short break in a very comfortable cottage."
"Immaculate, charming cottage in a lovely village, well appointed for Filey and Scarborough."
Cottage is furnished to a high standard and is comfortable and spacious. Paul, the owner, welcomed us, friendly and available, if needed. I would highly recommend this property, and look forward to returning here in the future.

"Beech cottage is a beautiful cottage, comfortable with quality furnishings and linen."
It had been prepared beautifully for our arrival although an oversight by the owner meant the heating had not been put on before we arrived. It soon warmed up and we had a lovely stay. We will return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the cottage and area.
"Really lovely cottage."
Very modern and clean. Nicely furnished throughout. Had everything we needed for a break away. Owners welcomed us and provided tips of area etc. very friendly. Used Tesco to do a food delivery to cottage on arrival. Railway station nearby which allow you to nip to coastal areas without the hassle of driving. Takeaway in village was decent too. Would recommend staying here.
"Loved our stay in your brilliant cottage."
Facilities were tip top and the whole family had a brilliant time. Brilliant location for exploring the East Coast.
"Fantastic would stay again however DVD player didn’t work in main room"
"Beech Cottage was a very comfortable, clean, well maintained property."
The listing was very accurate and the time spent there was very enjoyable. The owners Paul & Debbie were very accommodating. My wife & I would recommend this holiday cottage to anyone and would not hesitate to book again.
"Easy to find and park up."
Excellent location in the village. We spent most of our time in the kitchen area when we were 'home'. Sunday morning was the only time we turned the television on. We used the cooker on Saturday night and Sunday morning. Very small gripe - the frying pan is due for replacement in our opinion. We would definitely recommend Beech Cottage. The Easy Yorkshire bus service to/from the village was excellent.
"Very nice cottage just what we wanted nice and peaceful did not want for anything."
"The cottage is exactly as described on the website."
spotlessly clean. beds on the soft side but very comfortable. well equipped kitchen but don't tend to cook much on holidays. close to all the amenities the village has to offer. would recommend the white swan for good pub grub. chip shop in the village good value well worth the money and when we are holidaying in the area again we would certainly jump at the chance of staying at Beech Cottage.
"Lovely stay back in August 2022."

"A beautiful holiday cottage in a lovely little village, a convenient base to explore the stunning Yorkshire coast and countryside."
The cottage is quaint and full of character, but also has a large modern dining Kitchen with everything you need. ! small bathroom upstairs, but a large modern bathroom downstairs. A small courtyard garden with table and chairs lovely to enjoy after a day out. The owners are lovely and live close by, they give you their phone number so can be contacted if you need any help.
"We had a lovely week in Beech Cottage."
The cottage is immaculately clean, comfortable and cozy. The kitchen is a really good size and well equipped which made cooking for evenings in really easy (although we did also eat a lot of the yummy local fish and chips!). It is in a fantastic location - Hunmanby is a really pretty village and there is so much to do in the local area. As a family of 5 we loved the beaches, Robin Hoods Bay was a highlight for us. Overall a really lovely break and we would definitely recommend Beech Cottage. Thanks Debbie and Paul.
"Lovely cottage Had a fabulous week long stay at Beech Cottage in Hunmanby."
The rooms are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and very comfortable, as is the whole house. Nice size kitchen and bedrooms. Ample on street parking. In a perfect location. Close to shops, pubs and buses. Short walk to train station. Ideal for visiting many seaside locations. Debbie and Paul are very welcoming people and cannot do enough for you. They are also very knowledgeable on places to visit. Everything exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended. We will definitely be returning. Dave and Stephanie Banner

"Second stay at Beech Cottage The cottage is immaculate, the location is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire coastline."
The village has a fabulous bakery, a co-op supermarket, a couple of good pubs & a great fish & chip shop.
"Beech Cottage was so comfortable and beautiful."
Very high spec. Thank you to the owners who were so helpful, loved the apples too ! Comfy beds and sofa's, good showers, great kitchen and range cooker. We bought fresh fish from HG Lovitt 7, Mitford St., Filey. Best fresh fish ever. If you eat fish, a must. Loved Scarborough, Whitby and Museums. Loved Robin Hoods Bay, better not to drive down but walk if you can. It is extremely steep, ok once you get down there but allow for the walk back!. We had lunch in the Victoria Hotel, sitting in the conservatory overlooking the bay. Well cooked food good service. Definitely would return to Beech Cottage if holidaying in the area in the future.
"Beech cottage is a beautiful cottage!"

Beds were very comfy & loads of fluffy towels provided. The kitchen has everything you need to eat in, which was perfect for us doing a mix of eating in & out. We were 4 adults & having travelled from different areas of the UK, arrived with 2 cars. Parking adjacent to Beech Cottage was never an issue. Ideally placed for touring the coastal regions of North Yorkshire. Highly recommend!

"We had a great time at Beech Cottage (multi generational family of 5)."
The Cottage was very well appointed and comfy. It was good to have two lounges , so we could spread out in the evenings. The cottage was a short walk to Hunmanby centre for the shops, take-aways and pubs.
"The owners were fantastic, the cottage gorgeous, beds extremely comfortable and loved the bath!"
! We loved our stay.
"Lovely hosts that are there if you need them."
"We stayed for a week in this beautiful cottage."
The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we could need for a weeks break. The owners met us on arrival and were so helpful. We had forgotten to take our walks that we had planned they went out of their way to print us some walks off. We had an amazing week and definitely will be returning. Thank you Becky, Rick and Ffion
"Our second time at Beech Cottage."

"This accommodation was one of the cleanest we have ever stayed in."
The owners were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, the cottage is on a quiet road and just a short stroll from the village centre with all it’s amenities, The perfect base for visiting lots of east coast holiday spots. We would highly recommend this cottage and we will definitely be back. P.s there is a fantastic garden nursery on the outskirts of the village
"Comfortable, clean and cosy cottage with well maintained facilities."
The sitting room with the log fire and stairs going up felt quirky; and the decorative pieces throughout the house provided a homely feel. There is ample space for a family of four as well off-street parking on the quiet road, just outside. The location is fantastic with Filey beach nearby, among others as well as the North Yorkshire Moors. Highly recommended.
"A nice cottage and retreat."
Unfortunately it had internet issues but the owner did give us a mobile box which put us on to be able to stream our favourite films but unable to game which is one of the things we enjoy. The cottage itself is well equipped, spacious, comfortable and clean. A lovely stay and would recommend.
"Beautiful cottage, spotlessly clean."
"We have just spent a lovely week at Beech Cottage in a traditional village on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds a few miles inland from Filey."
It is a very clean and comfortable property in a great location and is a credit to the owners Debbie and Paul who popped round to meet us. Hunmanby is a very friendly village with a few pubs, shops (including a post office) and a chip shop all within walking distance, not to mention some interesting old buildings. The surrounding villages are lovely - we went to Burton Agnes Hall and Gardens one day and walked the clifftop paths at Flamborough Head on a couple of other days. The scenery from the cliffs is stunning and we particularly enjoyed exploring the gannet colony at the RSPB nature reserve at Bempton Cliffs. This is a cottage that we would recommend and definitely come back to at some point in the future.
"We booked last minute for a birthday getaway and I’m so glad we did."
