  • "Nice spacious accommodation, functional and practical rather than luxury, all the basics covered."

This is a repeat visit for us so we knew what to expect. Minor issue reported that was attended to quickly. Pluses; spacious, home from home feel, parking Minor niggles; fridge capacity could be bigger, wifi a bit patchy and slow

  • "The cottage was clean and spacious and we loved the enclosed dog run where dogs could be let off the lead."

As other reviews stated the decor in the cottage was from the 1990's but that certainly didn't bother us. Reallyt goodvalue for three bedrooms and the kitchen was well equipped

  • "Been before and will return to this property."

Home from home. Scrupulously clean. Some wear and tear since our previous visit but still a great place to stay. Controlling the heating is tricky. Central heating is on or off but with no thermostatic control so gets too hot/cold at this time of year. To be fair a couple of oil filled radiators were available to offer some flexibility.

  • "Lovely holiday, stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute."

Well centred for trips out and walking distance to shops and pubs. Staff on duty very friendly. Will definitely be going back.

  • "Beautiful cottage, has everything needed and is in a great spot for only a short drive to the nearest beaches."

The complex is very nice and tidy with a park for the kids and also a dog park where they can be let off the lead to run about. We will be returning in the near future

  • "The house was clean and comfortable."

We enjoyed staying there. The site is very well maintained and in a good location. However, i was disappointed to find how near it was to the busy road and railway line, also how close it was to other dwellings. I thought also that giving us only one tea towel and bin bag was unnecessarily mean. Also a mop would have been helpful. I understand why facilities like the bar and swimming pool were closed but this made the cottage expensive when compared to others, especially when the VAT reductions were not passed on. Incidentally, some sites have opened the pool.

  • "Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful."

The cottage was clean and comfortable, and was well located for touring the nearby towns and villages. My one recommendation would be that the blinds in the bedrooms be upgraded/replaced, as they did little to keep out the early morning sunshine,

  • "Beautiful place - cottage was lovely, nice and clean - did have a few downfalls - the oven was too small for a family of six, when did attempt to cook on the Friday we all ended up eating separately, so ended up eating out."

Nice open fire - only issue no logs/coal to have a fire going. Lastly be prepared if you go before April, swimming pool and bars are closed -wasnt specified when booked.
