Our holiday was absolutely brilliant and we were going to rebook until we saw the price increase - unfortunately it far exceeds our budget. Saying that, Lucasland is perfect for a large party of family and friends and met our every need. We visited for New Year and a friends 50th Birthday and had a big party in the on site bar. The bar was particularly good as a meeting place for all in the evening when we would get together and have a meal. The cottages were all fitted out perfectly and very comfortable and had everything you could hope for - home from home. We all really enjoyed our stay at Lucasland.

Situated at the back of the main square in Hunmanby village is this stunning complex of barn conversions, which have been renovated and sympathetically restored into three self-contained cottages, each sleeping six.
The cottages are set around an enclosed central courtyard and boast many original features such as beamed ceilings and chalk walls, along with all the comforts of modern living.
They provide superb accommodation for large family groups and friends to spend time together, but who also appreciate their own personal space.
Each cottage is beautifully and luxuriously appointed with different tasteful themes running through them including a French, a Scottish and a nautical theme.
They all have spacious open plan living areas, with stone flagged floors, squashy comfy sofas and cosy woodburners to curl up in front of during cooler months.
The well-equipped kitchens cater for every need, while guests have the choice of dining separately or can dine together in the on-site private pub.
With great attention to detail, and many bespoke features, they feel warm and inviting, ensuring guests have a wonderful and comfortable stay.
The enclosed sheltered courtyard offers space to sit and relax in the sunshine, enjoy a family barbecue or luxuriate in the large bubbling hot tub.
Guests even have their own pub serving draught beer, along with a pool table and Sky Sports and BT Sport, what more can you ask for!
A minute’s walk brings you into the hub of this pretty little village, with independent shops, cafes, coaching inns and restaurants, while the traditional seaside town of Filey lies three miles away.
Filey is a delight, with its coble landing, long sandy beaches and two pristine promenades.
The magnificent sweeping bay is every child's dream, with golden sands, shallow rock pools and donkey rides along the beach.
Why not hire one of the brightly painted beach huts for a memorable day in the sunshine?
The centre of this quaint historic fishing town has characterful shops, tempting tea rooms and independent retailers.
A little further up the coast is the RSPB Reserve at Bempton, with its puffins and kittiwakes, while the larger seaside towns of Bridlington and Scarborough are just short drives away, with the spectacular moors beyond.
With the rolling hills of the Wolds to discover and many other local attractions, your first visit to this exceptional property, will certainly not be your last.
