  • "The property was lovely and clean."

Perfect location for the all the popular seaside towns. Orchard farm village is very well maintained and a perfect dog freindly site. Would definitely recommend.

  • "Lovely cottage."

Lovely welcome pack. Comfy bed. All clean. Lovely and quiet. Just one negative WiFi. Really poor. Was better upstairs. But would go again no doubt about it. Recommend anyone to go.

  • "Had a lovely stay at willow cottage."

On arrival the lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming.Willow cottage was clean and fresh and a very good size everything you need is there and bedding and towels spotless and fresh. All the grounds around orchard park are well kept and clean. Would highly recommend staying here and the peace and quiet is lovely. Will definitely be booking again.

  • "The cottage needs general modernisation."

It could be a beautiful holiday home if the owners invested some money. The property has a serious damp issue which the owner is aware of. It’s in a lovely quiet area and we would definitely stay here again but in a modern caravan, which we found when we explored the site.

  • "As soon as we stepped in the door we could smell damp."

Willow do not have enough sockets in the bedrooms. Cutlery was limited (exactly 4 of everything!, bizarre!). There was no complimentary soap in the sinks, no small amount of washing up liquid (would've helped). Rubbish to zero WiFi, damp smell in every room. Kettle was was unfit for purpose. Just the little things make a big difference but the damp was unbearable for someone who has COPD and asthma. We were relocated after two days by the site manager who was very helpful and couldn't apologise enough.

  • "Wifi network kept dropping out every 30 an hour."

Was not sure if it was due to the thickness of the cottage walls or the internet connection itself. Very frustrating as had much work to do on the break but was unable to complete due to the signal strength.

  • "The previous holiday guests had spilled something on one of the settees which had to be vigorously cleaned and despite a heater was still too wet for us to use during our stay."

The sitting room window had suffered a breakage and was awaiting replacing. We have stayed at various cottages on this site and would return again despite the problems.

The bar could be open more regularly. An issue with the shower leaking was dealt with immediately which was great. Lovely friendly village and convenient for lots of local attractions.

  • "The bathroom wasn't cleaned properly, a razor was left on the shower unit."

The shower unit wasn't powerful enough. An empty crisp bag was left under the settee. The cottage has a damp smell and the owners were advised beforehand that we were visiting with a friend who is on oxygen and cannot afford to get ill. The settees are in need of a deep clean. Especially given the current climate. I think for the money paid we expected a bit more luxury.

  • "On arrival cottage had an over riding smell of damp which did not get any better throughout our stay."

The smell kept my wife awake the first night and we nearly decided to come home.Wi-fi was a waste of time as was the tv as there was no signal. The general cleanliness was not brilliant dining table and chairs were filthy,on departure when stripping bedding we were shocked at the state of the duvet and pillows which were soiled as there were no protectors on and the actual duvet had fallen to bits with the stuffing hanging out. This was very disappointing for £220 pound a night!!!!!!!!
