The welcome basket was a real treat! The place itself was beautifully kitted out, had everything you could need for a comfortable stay and was absolutely spotless. Location wise, couldn't fault it...within easy reach of some superb places to visit. Locally, the Plum and Partridge was a nice bar/restaurant, but our personal favourite was the Fauconberg Arms in the next village along. All in all, we had a wonderful time. Thanks!

The cottage was well appointed and had everything we wanted. Our only criticism was not enough clothes drawers or any wardrobe in the bedroom areas for a full weeks stay. We managed ok but with a bit of thought about this there is space to provide these extras. Without these we would still be happy to return as it was ideally placed for our stay. The village has no pub and 1 restaurant. We aren't that bothered but if you want a pub you can go to without having to drive this may not suit you.
