  • "Another great stay, we love this place ,carnt wait to come back."

All amenities on doorstep, the shepards hut was lovely and warm ,if anything we had to open window when fire was on . A little feedback would be it could benefit from a full length sweeping brush or mini wall mounted vacuum cleaner as small brush was hard work. The flowers and treats mean so much Thankyou again xx

  • "The hut is everything they said it would be, it is very cozy and welcoming."

Very clean upon arrival with a few treats left by owners. Cooking facilities are limited due to space available so next time I am packing my air fryer, however the local pub does serve some really nice food and it is not overly priced. The hut is situated close to amenities and main routes to go sight seeing. This is a place I look forward to stopping at again.

Well maintained and very clean inside. The owner left a few welcome items which were very much appreciated on arrival. Attention to detail is fantastic. We booked this stay to make extra memories with my elderly labrador Hugo and we did make some very special memories. We will definitely make this our go to place to relax.

  • "Gorgeous little hut."

It has been well thought out by the owners. Nice little touches were left for us like flowers, crisps and biscuits, also the bed, dishes, toy and treats for my dog were appreciated. He loved it there. Good base for visiting lots of places. I would give 9+ for my stay. The bed was not quite soft enough for me but I know that is personal preference and nothing that the quilt I bought from Skirlington market couldn’t cure. I would definitely stay again.

  • "The shepards hut was such a good find!"

It was beautiful, really cosy with beautiful finishing touches! A lovely cottage vibe! It's really easy to find, with plenty of things to do around the area. When we arrived there was a doggy basket with a towel, blanket, and treats which was so welcoming for the dogs! There was a pack of biscuits and some crisp left for us which was very kind. Fully equipped with tea and coffee and a fresh milk in the fridge! A pack of gard games which came in handy im the evening! The garden was enclosed and safe for the dogs ( unless you have a chihuahua who's an escape artist like mine who will find somewhere where she can sneak out of!) Fire pit and plenty of seating area for outside. The beach is only 30 minutes away, there's pubs and resturants about 5 minutes in the car. Your surrounded by stunning walks we done the Skidby mill walk which was lush, especially with the weather being on our side! We can't wait to re visit, such a perfect location with a beautiful shepards hut. We were so made up we found this we had the best time away! Just what we needed.

We also had our Golden Retriever with us and even with his 'stuff' of which there is always a lot, we didn't feel cramped. I am seriously thinking about buying one for my old age, it was wonderful and we will be back when we next come to visit our family in nearly Beverley.

The shepherd's hut was so quirky and well designed the bed was comfortable the outside space was lovely. Even our dog Betty was very well catered for, she certainly enjoyed sitting on the steps and watching the golfers. It was lovely and warm at night, we were very luck with the weather. Felt very safe and secure. Pleasant surprise with treats and milk on arrival. Half an hours drive to a lovely dog friendly beach at Fraisthorpe. Beverly was great for shopping and bars, Ihighly recommend Skidby Mill tea room (less than 5 minutes away) for their scones too. All in all I'd love to return. Thanks very much

Lovely surroundings , you are in the middle of a golf course. Only drawback is that there is a very busy road road near and was hard to cross to get to the nearest village of Skidby , and you can hear the traffic but it is worth it . The half moon pub in Skidby is worth a visit lovely little village .

Whilst small it was well planned out with enough storage and handy hooks in places. Lovely fresh flowers and welcome pack on arrival, including dog bowls, mat and treat box. Spacious private secure garden for the dog to play and run round. Great outdoor space including ample firewood for fire pit. Kitchen had lots of utensils to cook breakfast with. • "This stunning little treat is elegant and cosy, with a quaint log fire inside and a firepit outside for romantic evenings, even in lower temperatures."

It overlooked a golf course, with nature and beautiful views right from the window, or garden chairs. We were genuinely surprised with how efficiently the shephards hut had been furnished. There was nothing missing at all. Yes it is small, but there seemed to be so much more space than we anticipated. The bed was luxurious and comfortable, the kitchenette perfectly equipped, a small fold out dining table for romantic dinners and a quaint bathroom with a lush shower. We took our beloved 4 legged friend with us, and there were bowls, treats and bedding all ready for him. The attention to detail, lovely decor and general rustic charm of this fabulous little get-away was exactly what we needed for a couple of nights break. We even managed to find a pleasant pub within walking distance in the next village. All in all, one of the best quirky holidays we've had. Great job.
