“The cottage basics were great, hot water, heating, comfy beds and a good shower.”
“Lovely very well kept cottage in a pretty Yorkshire town with lots to do in the local area.”
The beds were comfy, TV decent size, small garden perfect for a dog and sitting outside and cottage had everything we wanted for a few days away. Parking is on the street but we had no issues with finding a space. Only thing I would add to the cottage is a chair in the bedrooms - there is certainly space for one.
“Candlemas Cottage was exactly as it was described and absolutely everything you need when living for a week away from home was provided.”
The furnishings were all beautiful, the kitchen appliances were brand new and the bed was one of the comfiest ever. There was a small rear garden which was private, secluded and in the sun all day. The position of the cottage in the village was ideal, only a 5 minute walk from the main street. The moors and Cropton Forest are only a short drive away. All in all we had a lovely holiday in this great little cottage.
“Very clean cottage but could do with a couple of little things in the kitchen i-e dishcloth for wiping work surfaces down and scourer as you don`t always want to use dishwasher especially when you've just had a snack.”
Spare toilet roll would not go a miss either but i am being picky The village is very handy for all of local sights and not too far to the beaches good butchers and bakers in village and nice food at The George and Dragon all dog friendly
“We was there for work it made a nice change to stop in this lovely cottage, has we normally stay in hotels, it was really clean and beds really comfortable and the owners very helpful.”
