The (not so) little extras were a lovely surprise - ie a welcome hamper with fruit, cake, bread, butter. Everything was of the best quality, nothing skimped. We also enjoyed a lovely garden and a very quiet environment. The cottage was ideally placed for many, many attractions, which were accessible by good roads. We were in the middle of lovely countryside, and though there were no shops, this was not a problem, as there is a thriving and pretty market town nearby. Altogether a very good place to stay. Ms Bridges August 2017 “We found both the cottage and the garden lovely.” All in perfect order, clean and cosy. David and Sue also left us lots of things like bread and coffee etc. I would certainly recomend this cottage. Mrs Jeffery June 2017 “We stayed at Knayton house cottage with a 2 year old and six month old in June and we didn't want to leave.” The photos do not do it justice! Sue and David were so welcoming and provided the most beautiful welcome hamper of delicious fruit, bread, scones ad home made jam! We often holiday in cottages due to the children and this was by far the best we have ever stayed in. They have thought of everything, it was like a home from home. Beautifully furnished through out and spotlessly clean. We will definitely return and have already recommended to friend and family. The village pub is very welcoming with very good food and beer, you must book though they are popular!
