"Lovely cottage, clean and well maintained."
It is situated on a working farm but it is quiet and peaceful.
The owners are very friendly and helpful and when we arrived homemade cakes and tea were waiting for us. It is situated close to a number of good walks and some detailed walks are provided in the cottage. WIthin minutes you are out onto the moors and a must do walk to the Hole of Horcum is not too strenuous. Great pub just a hundred yards or so away with tables outside. We booked meals here 3 weeks before our trip which turned out to be good idea as it is very popular. Friendly staff and excellent meals. Easy travel to Pickering and Hutton le Hole etc. Quite a narrow road leading to the village but there are plenty of passing spaces. Will definitely go again. Many thanks to Heather the owner.

"We had a great week in Harvest Cottage."
It is a very sweet cottage with everything you need for a break away. We were given a lovely welcome by Heather and nothing was too much trouble. The cottage is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. We have been to many cottages around the UK with our dog and this is definitely one of the best. Levisham is a lovely village with a fabulous pub (The Horseshoe Inn) but make sure you book beforehand, they get very busy (especially at Sunday lunchtime). Lots of great places to explore in the area and the North York Moors Railway is wonderful.

The cottage was clean, comfortable and we'll equipped. The welcome for both us and the dogs in the Horseshoe Inn was very friendly and the food was amazing. We had wonderful different walks on the Moors each day in the most glorious settings. Our whole holiday experience was amazing and we will be back again.

"A beautiful, clean, well equipped little cottage and a warm, friendly Yorkshire welcome; we arrived to a tea tray set with delicious home baking."
The village, like the cottage, is immaculate and the pub serves great food and a range of beers and wines in a traditional, homely environment. There are numerous walks around the area, for every ability and it’s not far to the coast to visit Whitby. Heather, the owner, is cheerful and friendly and we felt that nothing would have been too much trouble if we’d asked, but we didn’t have to because it was already perfect! We highly recommend this cottage; a home from home and a haven of calm and tranquility in one of Britain’s most beautiful areas.

"Levisham was a great location for us, lots of walks for the dogs and not too far to travel to near by walks too."
There's only a pub in the village and it's very nice and food is great and not too costly either.

"I think it would be a good idea to include a single easy chair in addition to the double seated settee in the lounge as the settee was rather small."
Apart from this it was a well appointed cosy cottage, always warm and in a super location.
