The property

A traditional, mid-terraced cottage in the quiet North Yorkshire hamlet of Port Mulgrave, on the edge of the popular village of Hinderwell.

A lovely, homely cottage, in a quiet and peaceful location, this Port Mulgrave cottage is perfect for a family looking to get away from it all and for walkers wishing to explore this beautiful coastal area.

This Port Mulgrave cottage has been thoughtfully refurbished to a good standard, offering an open plan living area with contemporary kitchen and a spacious living area with warming open fire set in an original cast iron and tiled fireplace, ideal to sit and relax around after an enjoyable day out.

This well-equipped Port Mulgrave cottage also boasts two bathrooms and a useful utility/boot room.

Wonderful views of the sea and hills can be enjoyed in the area surrounding your Port Mulgrave cottage, and a couple of minutes' walk brings you onto the Cleveland Way cliff-top coastal path, which offers superb walking opportunities.

For the less energetic, a one and a half mile walk, with breathtaking views, will bring you to the pretty villages of Runswick Bay and Staithes, whilst serious walkers are able to continue on to Whitby or to the old spa resort of Saltburn.

From this Port Mulgrave cottage, a short stroll will bring you to Hinderwell village, which has excellent amenities, including a butcher, a village shop and several pubs.

Enjoy a drive through the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park or visit the bustling, historic port of Whitby, with its famous abbey and Dracula connections!
