The location couldn't have been better. Whilst a local shop would have been nice the proximetry of both Bridlington and Driffield gave us everything we could need. The owners were very good and we look forward to going back again Thank you for a great break.

  • "Really lovely cottage."

Comfortable sofa, great bed, nice shower, and well equipped kitchen, which we know to our cost can be very hit and miss! Location quiet, Racheal the host is helpful but not intrusive. It's handy for Knickerbocker Glory in Scarborough, donuts in Filey, and fish & chips in Whitby although that's a bit of drive. If you've got mobility issues like us this place is ideal! I'd have to really nit pick to find a fault. If you're reading this at Sykes, ground floor properties would be a really useful filter when booking!

  • "Had an excellent time at Kingfisher Corner."

The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was very clean and decorated to a high standard, everything you could need to cook a meal was there. There were several printed walking guides made by the owner for walks direct from the cottage - which was really useful. Also Bridlington was only around 8 miles away for a nice walk along the beach - best of both worlds! Would recommend this property.

  • "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher Corner."

The cottage is very clean and cosy, and is extremely well equipped! The owners have thought of pretty much everything. A useful addition might be the provision of a few games for when the weather isn't great, but that would be my only suggestion to improve this already amazing property. We will definitely be visiting again!

This is our second stay here. We came the week before Christmas this time, and previously came in the spring, and we love it. We enjoyed the tranquillity of the setting on a farm, the excellent cottage and the access to many interesting things to do nearby and to excellent proper local food. Just what a pair of townies needed. Thank you!
