  • “The cottage was clean warm and comfortable and is a building of character, the walls of which are nearly 3ft thick.”

You can listen to the resident tawny owl on an evening, see buzzards fly above during the day, there is plenty of bird song and grey squirrels around keeping the peacock company. The water garden is a delight and the adjacent hall dates back to the early 1700s.

Ideally located close to many of the interesting places to visit in the area such as the moors, the wolds and coast.
