    I would recommend putting more hangers in the bathroom for the towels but also for the bathroom maybe get some stoppages for the water as it does get everywhere after a shower

    The location is peaceful, but closed to the town and coast, by car. The bed wasn’t as comfortable as we’d hoped, but it didn’t spoil our stay. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. We would stay again.

  • "We very much enjoyed our stay, the pod was very clean, and cosy."

    There was everything we needed, the milk in the fridge was a nice touch… Many thanks. Our fur baby loved the underfloor heating!! The camp site was well kept, and very quiet! Location was perfect. Negative points - The bed was very uncomfortable, and the bathroom was extremely cold, however, this didn’t impact on our stay, the positives outweighed the negatives. Thank you for a lovely stay, we would highly recommend this property and camp site.

    Loved that there was no late night parties etc on the holiday park which made the getaway even more enjoyable. The pod exceeded our expectations, it was airy, clean, very well maintained and had everything we needed to hand. I’ll definitely be booking again.

Positioned in White Cottage Holiday Park is this delightful, studio-style pod, Primrose.

Benefitting from a front decked area to soak in the sun and just a short drive away from the beach, this pet-friendly abode welcomes families, friends and two pooches.

Climb a handful of steps to reach the open-plan living space, with wooden walls and a sofa bed to enjoy your favourite shows on the TV.

The compact kitchen area offers a two-ring electric hob and a microwave to conjure delectable meals, which can be savoured together at the dining table.

Watch the sunset from the front garden on the outdoor furniture as the fire pit flickers before you, and why not toast some marshmallows?

As your eyes tire, retreat inside and take advantage of the wet room for a hot shower to wash the day away.

A double bed awaits, as well as a double sofa bed for flexible sleeping arrangements, where you can snuggle up with a much-loved book.

The White Cottage Pods

The White Cottage Pods consists of a delightful selection of two pods resting moments away from the Trans Pennine Trail on the outskirts of the coastal town of Hornsea, East Riding of Yorkshire. This collection offers compact but charming accommodation with stylish furnishings, en-suite wet rooms, access to private seating areas, lovely views of the countryside, as well as underfloor heating, making it ideal for couples or small families of four, while the surroundings enjoy a mixture of the country and coast where you can explore the close-by delight of Bugtopia Hornsea Zoo, sunbathe on the beautiful, Blue Flag shores of Hornsea Beach and go boating across or fishing in the SSI wonder of Hornsea Mere. HORNSEA

Bridlington 15 miles.

The pretty seaside town of Hornsea lies on the East Coast, 15 miles south of Bridlington. This old Victorian resort has long, wide, safe sandy beaches and an attractive promenade with well-kept gardens, ideal for families. The bustling town centre has an old-fashioned feel with a good variety of small shops, pubs and cafes, whilst nearby Hornsea Mere is the largest natural lake in Yorkshire and offers sailing, fishing and boat trips. Hornsea Freeport is popular for shopping, whilst Bempton Cliffs RSPB reserve can be reached in just over half an hour's drive, offering one of the largest mainland puffin populations in Britain. Hornsea is near to Wassand Hall and walled gardens and provides a good base for touring the Yorkshire Wolds, the North York Moors and the East Riding coastal resorts. The historic city of York, Beverley with it's famous gothic minster and The Deep at Hull are within an easy drive.
