Thank you very much for your feedback. We’ve had a couple of previous guests suggest an additional TV in the snug. Unfortunately, we needed to wait until the cottage was vacant to be able to install it and we’ve had the busiest start to our year! The cottage was empty this weekend, and a TV was actually added to the room. I know this doesn’t help for your stay, but I do hope you and your mum will visit us again soon. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well-equipped with amenities. The welcome hamper was a thoughtful touch. We loved relaxing and reading in “The Snug” and made good use of the cooking facilities. The double bed is huge! Our pooch loved the cottage as much as us and having a private yard for him was handy. Our only “even better if!” would be to change the seating arrangement or add a TV to The Snug to make viewing downstairs easier, but we would 100% recommend this property as it is and would love to return. Couple of things that would have improved our stay. As a family of 4 the lack of seating was a bit of an issue, we used the snug as a bedroom but with only one sofa in the kitchen we were left to sit on the bar stools not particularly comfortable. TVs in the snug and 2nd bedroom would be great for families who are limited with evening entertainment. I was quite surprised just how busy the road on which the cottage is located, the windows are top quality and when closed really hid most of it however in warmer weather worth bearing in mind. The walk to the beach is pleasant maybe 5 or 10 minutes. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants right next to the property. All in all a nice break, probably better suited to couples to make the most of the establishments around the property.

  • "The cottage was very well appointed, really clean and with really comfy beds."

The kitchen had everything you needed for a self catering holiday and it was great to have use of a washing machine as well (with drying rack). The outside space was a nice little sun trap while also offering shelter from the occasional rain showers - the table and seats again were really comfortable - great for drinks and games after a day at the beach. The small sitting room also offered a space for people to relax and chill away from the main kitchen/diner/sitting room. However, there was one drawback to this cottage. It was really uncomfortable to sit as a group and watch TV/films. We don't tend to watch a lot of TV but we do like to watch a movie at the end of the day. In order to do this we had to move the sofa and sit on an angle, while the fourth member of our group sat on a breakfast bar chair - not really comfortable for anyone. Despite this one drawback, I'd have no hesitation in recommending this cottage. The cottage was great and the beach was amazing and only 10 minutes down the road - just remember to bring a wetsuit - the water is freezing!
