As indicated it was clean and had all the facilities a person could need. The wine and chocolates were a lovely surprise! I appreciated the fact my old dogs could come on holiday with me and more so the fact there were no carpets for them to even dream of weeing on!! Both they and I appreciated being able to wander up the road to the patch of grass by the old folks home and take in the sea air as we went. The combination of the standard of the property and its position less than thirty seconds from a lovely beach makes it a must to visit. As a person with multiple disabilities who is also a keen photographer being able to fall out of bed and take images of the sunrise over the headland without having to get dressed or cold was an absolute joy. The welcome I received from the owner of the property was lovey. She and her husband explained all the buttons on the TV etc etc and encouraged me to ask her if I got stuck with any of the appliances. I would highly recommend Seaview Cottage,

The property

A well-presented ground floor apartment, next to the owner's home in an enviable position overlooking the coast, on the edge of the bustling village of Marske-by-the-Sea.

Set in an attractive late 18th century building, this Marske cottage is perfectly placed for families to enjoy seaside fun, with a superb sandy beach just a stone’s throw away.

Modernised throughout, this Marske cottage apartment retains some charming original features including two large bay windows, high ceilings and a feature fireplace in the dining room, home to a cosy gas stove.

With light and airy rooms, this Marske cottage offers a contemporary feel with a galley kitchen and two spacious bedrooms, one with a seating area in the bay window to take in the panoramic views.

Across the private road, this Marske-by-the-Sea cottage offers an open, terraced patio garden; an absolutely delightful spot to sit with an evening glass of wine.

A few minutes’ walk from this Marske cottage brings you to the centre of this popular village, with excellent amenities including pubs, shops and tea rooms.

A little further along the shore lies the old spa town of Saltburn-by-the-Sea, with its pretty ornamental gardens, historic cliff lift and long pier.

With the wonderful scenery of the North York Moors to explore and pretty inland and seaside villages to visit, this Marske-by-the-Sea cottage apartment provides excellent holiday accommodation.

Marske-by-the-Sea is a small, bustling coastal village with long, wide, sandy beaches. Originally an old fishing village, today it has a selection of local shops and pubs, which cater for all the family, plus the safe, sandy beaches, sand dunes and fishing boats are an enticing attraction. Places of interest nearby include Captain Cook's birthplace, the mining museum, and the Zetland Lifeboat Museum. Within easy reach of this quaint village is a horse riding centre, the stunning scenery of the North York Moors, through which runs a steam railway line, and the numerous pretty inland villages and fishing villages including Staithes and Runswick Bay.
