  • "We found the bungalow clean and comfortable."

It is small but fine for a couple. The area was nice and quiet.

  • "Ideal location for a base to explore the area from, the bungalow had everything that you required, Internet, smart tv, towels and linen provided was very welcome, it was always very nice to come back to, after having a busy day out, mainly doing lots of walking, to put the kettle on and just relax."

Crockery and cutlery are a nice quality and little things like that make it so homely.

We had an issue with Keys our fault nothing to do with owner ,he was great about it very nice person, would recommend it

  • "A lovely clean bungalow with a great enclosed back garden for the dog."

Would be even better if there were some larger sets of drawers/dressing tables in the bedrooms to put make up, hairdryers, straighteners etc on. We were staying for the week so had quite a few T shirts etc that needed to be put in drawers and the small bedside drawers only had enough room for ‘smalls’. Other than that it is in a great location on a quiet estate and just a 15 minute walk into Sewerby.

  • "Only niggles are that there were cobwebs in the bedroom and the bathroom not as clean as other rooms."

We did not use the property really other than for bed and breakfast as we were actually visiting friends who live nearby. The kitchen seemed to be well equipped and a comfortable lounge. Bed and bed linen nice and clean. Had a slight problem trying to contact owner on arrival as we had arranged to have oxygen delivered, unfortunately the oxygen company had tried to deliver but were unable to. After panic calls to oxygen company they were able to finally deliver at 9.30pm as an emergency. In all would return again .

Made a serious complaint regarding a refund because of testing positive for covid.incottage only 24hours. Still not received final decision from member of your management team....only 6days since first complained...I always telephoned. Sykes could only e.mail me.. why can you not just pick up the phone and discuss the situation.

  • "Nice little bungalow on a quiet estate giving the option of pleasant walks into Bridlington centre or in the opposite direction to Sewerby."

Made a great base for a lovely week by the coast

  • "The bungalow is in a lovely location, although quite a walk into Bridlington but it is a nice property."

The linen was clean and fresh. I had to wash some plates before using them but otherwise it was clean. The furniture is a little dated and not particularly comfortable. The front door did not lock from the inside and we notified the owner when we arrived and had discovered this. We had to contact him as there was no key for the side door leading into the back garden and we have a dog. He brought a spare straight away which is when we told him about the front door. Unfortunately it was still the same when we left. We had to lock it from the outside at night, which is a fire hazard as this only leaves one exit out of one of the bedrooms. A whole week to do something about it is more than long enough in my opinion! I hope whoever is there this week is able to get it sorted. There is a chain on the door but this is not secure enough when you have valuables in the property. It's a shame because otherwise we had a fantastic week.

  • "Very well situated, especially for the bus into Bridlington and car drive to Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs."

Filey and Hornsea were very nice places to visit. It was in a very quiet area. Very well equipped but a couple of niggles. Very few washing line pegs, 2 strange white-feathered lampshades in the smallest bedroom, which could be an allergy hazard and the lounge could have done with a nest of small tables for somewhere to put your drinks. The two small mats on the metal steps leading to the rear garden were a trip hazard. There was no information about refuse bin control.

  • "We had a lovely week at seashells it was clean comfortable and well equipped."

The enclosed garden was great with sun all day and very dog friendly. Even though the bungalow is in a housing estate it is so peaceful enabling a very relaxed holiday.

  • "Nice bungalow with plenty of space, listing should say access to garden is only through a bedroom, or through a door outside, the walk to the beach is easy, the parking is good, could fit two cars on the drive, the garden is dog safe, however too much gravel and there are a few steps into the garden, lovely patio set but no sun shade, its a quiet neighbourhood with friendly neighbours."

Beds were comfortable, plenty of sockets, bathroom was clean with a good shower, not suitable for disabled as the bath had no hand rails or anti- slip mat, no lock on the bathroom door. We enjoyed our stay, a good vacuum cleaner and some cleaning products were available, free WiFi! a rarity in holiday accommodation was a bonus as we all needed to communicate with home. Great location for access to Bridlington, Filey, Whitby and Scarborough.

  • "Nice little bungalow in quiet area only 10 minutes from north beach ..."

Nice little bungalow in quiet area only 10 minutes from north beach Morrisons extra on the door step and few pubs within 15 minutes The only niggle we have was the car port roof, there were strong winds at night and pieces of the roof were dislodged causing it to flap wildly and disturb us this said would certainly consider a return trip

Easy reach of a large Co-op Store and very good fish and chip shop! Private and enclosed rear garden for the dog and parking on the drive. Very quiet location . Just a few tweaks to make it even better. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Seashells to a small family or a couple.

  • "Great bungalow situated in a quiet residential area, secure garden for our four legged friends!"

Short walk to a small supermarket and local pub. Nice walk into Bridlington that takes you straight to the dog friendly beach, if you don't fancy walking the little train travels from the cliff top and takes you along the front. Will definitely return.
