  • "Rye Cottage is well situated to explore the surrounding area."

It was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The only thing there was not a key for the front door.

Hi, its great to hear from you and thank you so much for the wonderful feedback. We really are so pleased you liked the location of the cottage, and we try really hard to achieve high standards of cleanliness throughout. It is something that's very important to us, and we're so happy it's appreciated. We've just doubled checked now with the current guests, and the front door key is attached to the same key fob as the back door key that you would have collected from the key safe on arrival. It's maybe easily missed though, but both are definitely available to guests to use we promise. Take good care and we hope that you'll consider staying with us again in the future. • "Very well presented and very clean."

Only reservation was that a lot of the furniture was in front of windows which made them very difficult to open and we had very hot weather so a through breeze would have been nice. Otherwise a lovely property

Hi, and thank you so much for your feedback and comments. This is our first holiday cottage and we really want things to be perfect for our guests. The feedback we receive definitely helps us improve on the service we can offer going forward. Following your comments, we have moved some of the furniture enabling guests to get to the windows and open them much more easily. We have also purchased an upright oscillating fan, and hopefully this will also help with the airflow in the hot weather. Thank you again for your kind words and great comments on the property and we really hope you had a fantastic holiday in North Yorkshire and at Rye Cottage? Property Owner
