  • “Lovely place close to town centre.”

Lovely place close to town centre. A real home from home, well equipped and decorated to high standard. Only stayed one night as had night out planned at Castle Howard, less than 15 mins away by taxi but wish could have stayed longer. House was perfect for our needs, spent afternoon relaxing in garden, enjoyed a great night out and then back to house for relaxing evening. 10 out of 10.

About the location

MALTON

York 18 miles; Scarborough 24 miles.

The market town of Malton has been the historic centre of Ryedale since Roman times, and has many interesting buildings including the old Corn Exchange and Assembly Rooms. A weekly general market is still held in the town, as well as livestock and farmers’ markets. The Yorkshire Moors are to the north, and the Yorkshire Wolds are to the south, making it excellent countryside for walkers and cyclists. The impressive coastline is just 24 miles away, whilst the historic city of York is an 18 mile journey. A perfect base for touring the attractions of North Yorkshire.
