"The cottage was lovely, the decor was in keeping with its style the down side is ..."
The cottage was lovely, the decor was in keeping with its style the down side is the beds are in need of new mattresses, we could of used an instruction manual with the cooker but once we had worked it out it was a great cooker, the recycling and rubbish area was very poor when we arrived there was already rubbish and recycling in this small area within a few days it was overflowing as most if not all the cottages were occupied sadly there is no glass recycling you have to take this to nearest centre BUT these down sides were far outweighed by the cottage and its location we would happily go back again
Hi Linda thanks for staying with us and glad you enjoyed your stay with us, GOOD NEWS ALL MATRESSES HAVE BEEN CHANGED. The cooker instruction book should have been in a small cupboard above the extractor fan. we were away and would normally have kept the bin area tidy, glass goes in with everything else to recycle Property Owner

"We were very comfortable during our stay at Forge Cottage."
Although the promised en-suite bathroom was unusable due to water and electricity problems. We tried to contact the given telephone numbers, but had no reply. Fortunately we had a second bathroom, which we all used. We also had problems managing the heating system. In the end it worked out alright, but we did not understand how to influence it. Maybe some explanation could help? The surroundings and the landscape were magnificent.
sorry you had problems in the en-suite bathroom, not sure what the electric problem was but as soon as we could we got the Plumber to fix the toilet, the shower and basin still worked, heating in that cottage is by night storage heaters, don't really need any adjustments, glad you enjoyed the view and sorry for any minor faults Property Owner
