The property

Tucked away down a quiet side street in the heart of Scarborough, just paces from the magnificent Yorkshire coastline, lies this attractive, three-storey property, 4 Quay Street.

Stylishly presented with three bedrooms, this quaint retreat welcomes families and friends looking to escape to this seaside hotspot.

After a long day adventuring and building up an appetite, budding chefs can take to the kitchen and prepare a delicious feast whilst the others can set the dining table with crockery and cutlery.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a lovely sitting room where you can lounge around whilst catching up on some good TV.

Soak in the last of the evening air in the small yard, and as you begin to tire venture to the first floor to find the first double bedroom, neatly presented with light décor, and served by a bathroom where you will be tempted by a relaxing soak in the tub.

Continue to the second floor, hosting a larger double bedroom with a lovely window providing an outlook of the town, and a pretty twin which is ideal for children.

With such a central location, you are never more than a short walk from a wealth of amenities, including a wealth of eateries, fish and chip shops and a convenience store, so you’ll hardly need the car.

Enjoy a calming walk along the golden beach, tour the 3000-year-old castle, boasting panoramic views of the rugged coastline or view marine life close up at Sea Life.

For the avid historians, head to the Rotunda Museum, one of the oldest purpose-built museums in the country, while those travelling with children will enjoy a visit to Luna Park, home to arcades, haunted houses and fairground rides.

Once Scarborough is completed, take a lovely drive to the town of Whitby, home to a 7th-century church, Whitby Abbey which overlooks the North Sea, Whitby Musuem and a Grade I listed lighthouse.

Further afield there is also the city of York to consider, where you can enjoy a unique experience of the Bloody Tour of York, or explore the gothic York Minster, a marvellous 7th-century building.

There’s plenty to fill your holiday itinerary while staying at 4 Quay Street.
