The property

Set in the thriving seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire is 6 St. Marys Walk, a charming end-terrace cottage.

Ideal for a small family or group of friends, this lovely dwelling boasts easy access to local amenities and the beach.

Stepping into the property, the living/dining room welcomes you in to sink into the sofas to watch TV with your loved ones as the electric fire gently warms the rooms around you.

From here, the well-equipped kitchen offers all the appliances you need to whip up some tasty meals to enjoy with the group at the stylish dining table as you discuss the day's events.

When the evening grows darker, climb the stairs to the bedrooms to rest your eyes; the cottage offers a double room with a TV, and a twin room for a flexible sleeping arrangement throughout your stay, both decorated with a light décor breathing air into this cosy cottage.

Prepare for your day in style in the bathroom, fitted with a bath where you can relax in the bubbles with a good book, as well as an overhead shower, a basin and a WC.

Take advantage of the outdoor space at the property; the compact courtyard complete with seating where you can enjoy your morning coffee ahead of a fun-filled day at the seaside.

Doorstep walks from the cottage will take you into Scarborough town centre where you will find an abundance of shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafés to fuel your adventures during your stay; the area offers many cuisines as well as some fish and chip shops for a traditional lunch by the sea.

If you are travelling with younger guests, Flamingo Land, with its theme park and zoo, is within easy reach by car, or closer to home you can discover a wealth of sea species at the Sea Life Scarborough Aquarium.

The area is known for its delightful gardens and rich cultural history; take a walk to Scarborough Castle, boasting magnificent views over the sea and town and bursting with character.

History buffs will also enjoy the Rotunda Museum, the first purpose-built museum constructed in 1829, now exhibiting fascinating displays on a range of local topics.

There are plenty of gardens to discover in this scenic area such as the Italian Gardens, or further afield into the town of Filey, the Filey Bird and Animal Park, which is home to numerous exotic birds, animals and plants.
