  • "A very cosy comfortable cottage."

Had everything we needed. It is very conveniently located in the old town area, a 5 minute walk from the harbour and town centre and near to the castle. It was very quiet and peaceful area of the town. Beds were very comfy. We would definitely return.

Good quality furnishings throughout. Same comments as others re the sofa. Bedrooms were lovely. Kitchen fantastically well equipped. Some sugar would have helped otherwise it had all the necessities. We had a great time and thank you. We would return again.

Very clean and tidy with nice extra touches such as toilet roll, kitchen roll and washing up liquid. Great to have a parking disc and scratch cards, always got a parking space. Very easy booking process with Sykes, confirmed straight away and kept updated throughout, will definitely book again.

  • "Great cottage in character location."

Two niggly things that precluded an excellent review, sofa very uncomfortable, blind in double bedroom needs replaced did not block out street light and room occupants visible from outside

  • "The little house was very good well furnished and very clean ,the only drawback from our point of view was the stairway was very steep and the elderly may find that very daunting."

Having said that the bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable beds,we have already booked with you for next May down in somerset

  • "The cottage was lovely and well presented on arrival."

Having a 2 & 4 year old we felt the stairs were a little steep so would recommend taking a portable stair gate/net for night time. Also worth noting from a young kids point of view, the bathroom is downstairs and it doesn’t have a dish washer! ;-) We did have a lovely time and the location is right in middle with access to North or South Bay. Again worth noting they’re are several steps up to the cottage which aren’t really suitable for a pushchair (which I hadn’t really thought through!) but all in all a lovely little cottage and pleasant stay. :-)

  • "The kitchen was poorly equipped, the cooking utensils were very poor quality they bent when you tried to use them."

The seating in the living room was not very comfortable. The bathroom was great and the location was good.
