The property

Tucked away down a residential street in the heart of Scarborough, The Boathouse is a pleasing setting for your next getaway to the North Yorkshire coast, within easy reach of the North York Moors National Park and the local beach.

Set over three floors, this mid-terrace home welcomes families and friends for a memorable seaside escape.

Be welcomed into the hallway, popping off your sandy shoes and hanging up your beach bag before discovering the lounge, where you can look forward to cosying up on the ample seating and enjoying a favourite film on the Smart TV.

Carry the conversation into the kitchen, where you can assist the designated chef in preparing a delicious supper, while the rest of the group lay the table and pop open a bottle of fizz.

A patio door leads to the enclosed courtyard, offering a private spot for a drink whilst you enjoy the last of evening.

As your eyes grow heavy, retreat upstairs to find the bedrooms; the first floor offers the master with king-size bed and en-suite shower, along with a twin served by the functional bathroom with bath and shower over.

Move up to the second-floor where a double and twin bed awaits, presented with a cheerful décor and views over the road.

Enjoying a central location within Scarborough, you won’t have to travel far to enjoy the attractions of this seaside resort.

Pack up your swimming trunks and sunglasses and head to one of the two sandy beaches, North and South Bay, where you can soak up the sunshine, paddle the shores or enjoy a ride aboard the Hispaniola Pirate Ship.

Wander the town streets, lined with independent shops, bars and eateries, meet local marine life at the Sea Life Centre or embark on a leisurely stroll around Peasholm Park and marvel at the Japanese gardens as well as enjoying the Open Air Theatre.

For the history buffs in your group, be sure to visit the Rotunda Museum, one of the oldest purpose-built museums in the country, while a trip to Luna Park Scarborough is a great choice for families, offering fairground rides, arcades and haunted houses.

There’s plenty to enjoy in the immediate area, while traveling a little further afield gives you chance to explore Robin Hood’s Bay and the vast expanse of the heather clad moorland, making The Boathouse a wonderful dwelling, all-year-round.
