"What can I say?"
Well lots actually! I’ll try to keep as brief as possible. As soon as we entered Valiant House, we knew we’d made the right choice. The house was spotless, it smelled lovely and everywhere is beautifully decorated for a smart and homely feel. The number of beds and bathrooms is fantastic and it feels nice and safe for the younger kids. Couldn’t fault our stay, all the party felt the same and we are missing it already. A real 10/10 choice and landlady couldn’t be more lovely or helpful!

"We stayed from the 17/10/23 until the 21/10/23 We came as a group of 5 from age 16-21 for my 20th birthday with family and friends House was honeslty incredible we all felt at home, Master bedroom was perfect for me and my partner and the two attic rooms were taken by the other 3 (one bad was a double and the other single) 10 min walk to the beach!"
Lovely gesture was left on the kitchen table (box of scarbough fudge) We all loved our stay and cannot wait to book in the summer of 2024

The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. Pippa, the host, is a great communicator, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We really enjoyed staying at this property.

The house had a large kitchen and a nice outdoor seating area. Apart from the ensuite shower the whole house was very clean and had been thoughtfully decorated. The family bathroom would benefit from having a shower attachment added as the layout of bathrooms / bedrooms didn’t really work for our multigenerational family group. The house is well located in easy reach of north and South Bay although the street itself isn’t that pleasant with lots of dog mess and litter (nothing the owner can do about this). Unfortunately the house has some maintenance issues which need attention - broken door locks, kitchen cupboards coming off hinges, tv broken, lots of incredibly creaky flooring which you don’t expect in a modern house, broken toilet seat. We enjoyed our stay in Scarborough but probably wouldn’t return to this particular property due to the bathroom arrangements

15 minute walk from the beach, 5 minutes from the town centre, The only slight niggle would be to have a bigger TV. Mainly for those Rainy days. It’ was our 2nd stay at Valiant house and Pippa was so accommodating. We would come back and would recommend to friends

Only downsides for us was parking we had to park on another street at times then worried about getting ticket. We also had an issue with some young people whilst taking my granddaughter for a walk up the street they started throwing objects one hitting the pram unsure if the norm but teenagers abit rowdy in the area.Our last stay in Scarborough was up the opposite end which is much quieter however all that said we had a lovely break ,house is perfect and located well to explore.

Spotlessly clean. Really centrally located for both North and South Bays. Would be a bit cosy/squash for 7 adults to be sat comfortably in lounge and at kitchen table for long periods of time.. Would benefit from a second shower in main bathroom. Shame floorboards on 2nd and 3rd floor squeak so much. Didn't detract from our enjoyment of our time in the house and Scarborough.

Very clean and tastefully decorated. The only thing I would say it needed was a shower above the bath especially as it caters for 7 people. Pippa was also very helpful.

Good location close to both north and south bays. Excellent pub ten minutes’ walk away. Free on-street parking outside. Recommend Valiant House without hesitation.

Very well equiped holiday house with four rooms, big kitchen, two bathrooms and above all beautifully decorated. I love it and so do my kids and my wife. The owner also is so much helpfull and knowledable she guided us to attractions of Scarborough. The best thing is when you reach the holiday house after long air flight and you find the owner kept a box of delicious cookies and milk in the fridge this wad very nice gesture. I will recommend this holiday house to every one considering a holiday in Scarborough.
