The property

31 Eastgate is a charming, stone-built cottage, resting in the bustling town of Pickering in North Yorkshire.

The property has been renovated to provide a contemporary interior, whilst still boasting period features such as the delightful stone flooring and stripped pine doors on the first-floor.

Entering the property, you will be greeted by a sitting room with a warming woodburning stove, perfect for curling up with your loved ones.

Walk through to the open-plan kitchen/diner where you can gather for delicious home-cooked meals, cooked to perfection in the contemporary fitted kitchen.

The ground floor also hosts a delightful bathroom with an elegant bath and walk-in shower, so you can decide how best to prepare for your day.

Follow the steps up to the first-floor where you will discover two double bedrooms, where you can retire after a long day, both of which offer plenty of furniture to house your personal items.

Outside there is a small patio area to the rear, ideal for enjoying a refreshing beverage or a spot of alfresco dining.

Pickering is an excellent location for accessing a number of traditional pubs and restaurants, if you don't fancy cooking on evening.

Why not visit the famous stately home, Castle Howard, and take a stroll around the thousand acres of its grounds scattered with temples, statues, fountains and lakes.

Make sure to explore the historic Beck Isle Museum, which houses period displays dating back to the Victorian era.

If you're bringing your little ones along, visit Flamingo Land Resort which offers thrilling rides for the whole family!

With your close proximity to the North York Moors National Park and Dalby Forest, you are well-placed for accessing a number of country trails for walking and cycling opportunities.

Further afield is the seaside town of Scarborough, rich with tourist attractions such as its Japanese-style Peasholm Park, SEA LIFE Scarborough, South Bay Beach and Scarborough Castle to name a few.

Or if you are to head further in-land, Helmsley, a historic market town, is just a 25 minute drive from the cottage and is home to Helmsley Castle and walled garden, award winning eateries and it's very own brewery.
