"The cottage was lovely good location ideal for exploring the area comfortable beds excellent sized rooms, everything you could possibly need in a home."
Slight problem toilet seat in bathroom loose and shower cubicle very slippy when in use would benefit from a anti slip mat. Apart from that excellent stay really enjoyed it would stay again.
A real home from home. Would definitely return in the future
"Our second time staying Cobblers Cottage, it is a lovely cottage close to the town."
The added bonus this time was having the second toilet in the property if someone in the shower. We will be back again.
"Lovely cottage with a brilliant kitchen."
The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. The cottage is ideal for exploring the town, close to shops and the White Swan, a dog friendly pub with great food and its own brewery! There are some great walks to be had so we didn’t need to drive at all.
Thank you Norman for the positive response. I'm pleased you enjoyed your stay in Pickering and Cobblers Cottage. Property Owner

Very well equipped and spacious. No parking or outside space but that didn’t bother us. Very clean and comfortable. Very close to get to centre of Pickering.

Full instructions from owner. Pickering was enjoyable. Some road noise but minor inconvenience.

Great cottage, spacious very clean and tidy, all the facilities you need for your stay, and the location was brilliant for the town centre, very good pubs, great Chinese Takeaway (Lees) Eastgate and excellent Indian Restaurant Spice 4 U, would recommend Cobblers Cottage to anyone, and we will return again
"I have all ready been in touch with you about the state of this cottage and sent you pictures of the mess and about leaving a day early one of the worst breaks we have ever had in fairness you said that you would contact the owner and phone me back that was two weeks ago."
L have heard nothing this is something we can just not understand our next step is to contact tripadvisor and give them a review.
"The property was spotless and had everything we needed and more."
The centre of Pickering was just a 5 minute stroll away. There was ample free parking across the road.
"The cottage is in a fantastic location with the old market town just minutes walk, there's many choices of dining especially if you don't fancy cooking whilst on holiday."
York, Whitby and Scarborough are not that far away. I would highly recommend a visit to the teddy bear orphanage down eastgate called Tinks, they're only open weekends but it's such a fantastic place, we ended up adopting 3 bears.
"Cottage was great and had everything we needed."
Child proofing was fantastic, particularly the baby gates bottom and stop of stairs-something we haven’t had at other cottages. Very comfortable and great location for everything we wanted to do whilst up there.
"This is our third visit to Cobbler's Cottage and it really is a fantastic place to stay."
Good levels of comfort and very well equipped and in an excellent location. We will definitely be returning again next year

"The cottage was charming with everything you needed for a family holiday with a well equipped kitchen for those quiet nights in and 2 large double bedrooms and a good sized single."
The location gave plenty opportunities to travel to the coast or venture inland to the dales, all within a 30 minute to 40 minute drive. The village had Indian, Italian, Chinese dining and good old English chippy as well as a few pubs that served food. Good walks were also close by so in all a great location for families and those adventurous types.
"The cottage was even better than expected, cosy, warm, spacious, excellent facilities would definitely visit again"

It's location was fantastic as was all the amenities at the cottage beautifully warm & home from home would highly recommend it .
"Cottage positioned a few minutes walk from the centre of Pickering - perfect for the railway and evenings out."
Although parking is on the road opposite the cottage there was never a problem finding a space, and there’s no time restriction. The beds were very comfortable and clean. There was always hot water.
"The coffee machine leaked and the cooker hood/extractor didn't work."
It did smell like there had been smokers in there. The drainer didn't hold the dinner plates which made washing up difficult. The house though was great and suited us. The position was perfect and road didn't bother us. Thanks.
"The cottage was very clean and bigger than we expected, the log burner was great and a nice touch having milk and some biscuits on arrival."
Access instructions worked very well and the cottage is situated close to amenities too. We had a great time, thank you!
"Was a lovely cottage but it would have been better if we had our own parking place but I understand this would not really be possible."
"A wonderful cottage providing all those little extras that made our stay extremely comfortable."
Set in a superb location of North Yorkshire it is a real gem of a holiday cottage, we would definitely return!
"Lovely cottage just on the outskirts of Pickering."
The Cottage was much bigger than it appeared in the pictures the rooms were lovely with comfortable beds and bedding. The cottage was well equipped, especially the kitchen!
"The cottage was fantastic."
Very cosy and clean. It really was a home from home for the week. Some excellent finishing touches to the decor and how wonderfully to have biscuits and cake on arrival. We can't wait to visit again.
"I would have liked a second toilet and there is ample room to install one."
But over all this was a good walk equipped cottage.
