  • “The property is in a great location, you couldn't get closer to the NYMR train station if you tried!”

We arrived at the property to milk, biscuits and wine which was a lovely touch. The property listing was accurate in terms of furnishings and was comfortable. The only real let down for the property was cleanliness but it was quite the let down. We arrived at the property to milk, biscuits and wine which was a lovely touch. The property listing was accurate in terms of furnishings and was comfortable. The only real let down for the property was cleanliness but it was quite the let down. The downstairs shower had visible mould which resulted in a very strong damp smell in the bathroom and into the kitchen if you didn't leave the bathroom door closed. The kettle had not been cleaned in some time and was fully coated in limescale so we ended up not using it. The oven only had one shelf which fit which made cooking dinner rather difficult but there are an abundance of takeaways close by to help with this. The hard floors were dirty and we found dead bugs on several surfaces. The level of cleanliness was generally poor which was a real shame as it was a lovely property with a beautiful garden. The potential to be a great holiday stay is there, it just needs a deep clean and some minor maintenance. Overall, a nice property but needs a higher standard of cleanliness for an enjoyable stay.
