  • "We appreciated the cake and Prosecco on arrival."

Everything was very satisfactory. Our only negative observation would be that there was no need for the excessive use of air fresheners distributed around the cottage and we feel that breathing in these synthetic chemicals 24/7 must be unhealthy. They also create an unnatural synthetic odour which we dislike, although presumably some people must like these artificial scents or the devices wouldn’t sell.

  • "We were advised the night before the holiday that there was no live TV available, we would have liked more notice."

Hopefully bed linen and towels service will return in the not too distant future. We appreciated the proximity to the station and enjoyed visits to York and Whitby.
