"Excellent value for money."
Location perfect for Ripon and all the surrounding area has to offer
-
"Brilliant apartment- a real home from home."
Spotlessly clean, comfortable and airy. Tastefully furnished with nice pictures also! Best holiday rental we have stayed in. Very nice welcome of wine, flowers, biscuits and milk - gratefully received after a long journey from Kent. Lovely touch. Access to the apartment was easy but the key safe is a bit stiff and took me a few attempts- two hands needed!
-
"Good position of the accommodation in Ripon and convenient for us to explore The Dales, N Yorks Moors, castles, abbeys and gardens, as well as Ripons museums, market and shops."
Good holiday and a good property to rent, we would recommend it as a base.

"A great place to stay."
Good location. Easy walk into Ripon. Very clean. Everything needed to self-cater. Handy Deli opposite. Great restaurants in town too. Highly recommended.

"On arrival we found the accommodation very inviting, warm, clean and well equipped."
There was fresh flowers in the lounge, bottle of wine and milk in the fridge. The kitchen had everything needed for preparing a snack to full cooked meal. Would definitely stay again.

"Lovely accommodation."
Everything we needed in the apartment. Comfortable and roomy. Excellent location. Came for the Cycling World Championships and was easy access to Harrogate. Also trips to Fountains Abbey and the Dales.

"Excellent location and the flat perfect."

"The apartment is very well equiped and good located, at the edge of the towncentre, next to Ripon Canal and very close to the Skell River."
The Yorkshire Dales can be entered by several, very nice routes. We like to stay in a town that is not too big (like Ripon), with a good choice of shops, restaurants and pubs and not too far from walking possibilities. We enjoyed making trips every day to historical towns and villages, monuments, woods, gorges, waterfalls, trainviaducts and were very pleased by the kindness of the people we met. The Yorkshire Dales offer a lot of beautiful and interesting places; it was difficult for us to choose and find a good balance between nature, towns, abbeys, castles and gardens. Tourist Information of Ripon was a good help to us for making choices. We loved The Dales and its tales!

"The welcome package was a great surprise."
Location and apartment great. Attention to the designated place to car park, very tight.

"Had a great time in 14b Canal Wharf Ripon."
Ideal position to explore the city and surrounding area. The apartment is warm, clean and comfortable. Everything was was available for our use. No need to bring any kitchen utensils etc., when going to 14b all is provided. This was our third stay in 14b, and we hope to be back again soon.

"This flat is so clean, comfortable, welcoming."
A true home from home. In a beautiful location, it is close to the centre of Ripon and one evening I spent an hour listening to bell ringing practice in the cathedral, although far enough away not to be intrusive. There are a lots of things to do in the area. Sadly I missed some of the ice cream parlours and will have to come back.

"Excellent in every way, cleanliness, location, facilities, you can tell the owners really pride themselves with this apartment."
-
"Sykes website was easy to use and very efficient communications leading up to holiday."
The apartment was excellent, clean, well equipped and a much appreciated welcoming pack for us on arrival which included the essentials of milk, tea bags, biscuits and a bottle of win, the owner also provided very detailed information about access etc. .The location was ideal and very handy for all the local amenities and with the great weather there was a very relaxed, almost continental, feel about the whole holiday. Will certainly use Sykes for future holiday bookings and will certainly use this apartment again at some point.

"Beautiful property, very clean and well equipped."
you can just arrive with clothes & food, great location, will book again.
-
"The downside to this apartment was the road noise which can be heard in the bedrooms during the night."
The double glazing clearly needs upgrading and also noise from the apartment below a young mother with two children under five years could clearly be heard shouting at them when they were crying all of which can be very distressing to listen to. On viewing the visitors book other people staying there had had the Same problem and on this basis we would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.

"The apartment was perfect for us, a real "home from home"."
We had everything we needed and the flat was very comfortable (beds, chairs, temperature). We initially had a problem with the TV; on contacting the owner, he was very helpful and quickly sorted out the problem. Location was excellent too - on the canal for walking; close to the cathedral and shops / cafes.
