  • "A perfect cottage."

Set in an ideal position to enjoy the delights of Robin Hoods Bay and with a stunning sea view. The cottage is beautiful, perfectly decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. We would highly recommend.

  • "We absolutely loved our week at Bramble Cottage."

The cottage is in a perfect location, is beautifully decorated and very cosy. It has everything you need for a week’s stay. The views are wonderful, and the small patio garden was such a bonus - for breakfast and for fish and chips! The parking space was also invaluable. We genuinely can’t wait to visit again.

  • "This is a lovely cottage, well-equipped, beautifully decorated and comfortable, with amazing views."

The lower bedroom with no window took a bit of getting used to for my daughter, but with two sitting rooms to choose from, she coped! Hooks on the back of the main bedroom door or a chair would be useful, otherwise I can't fault it!

  • "Well decorated cottage with an odd, awkward layout."

All seating both indoors and outdoors is very uncomfortable. The bed in the upstairs bedroom was fairly comfortable if a little lumpy. Good shower, but steep sided bath so quite a stride needed getting in and out. Handy having a washer/dryer - remember to take your own laundry detergent. The best thing about this cottage is the view from the small patio at the back and the allocated parking space which is invaluable. A parasol is needed in hot weather - fortunately we took our own. The lower ground floor toilet opens directly into the lounge. The main bathroom is on the 1st floor, so all rather awkward. We feel this cottage lacks the comfort for a long stay and is better suited to a long weekend and would not describe as luxury. The Prosecco and After Eight mints were appreciated. Our stay at Bramble Cottage was marred by work being carried out to repair the Harbour Wall which is ongoing throughout the summer and for years to come.

Really couldn't fault it. The cottage is in a perfect position with great coastal views. The welcome gift was also a lovely touch.

  • "This absolutely tiny little place has been incredibly well equipped."

It’s been decorated with real care and attention to detail. Everything has been thought of and benefits from washing machine, dryer and anything and everything you could want in a kitchen. The location is good with the bonus of an allocated parking space right next to the fish box; this is such a treat as parking is lacking in the area and means you don’t have to navigate the rather steep hill. There is also plenty of walking straight from the door, beautiful views! The house isn’t for tall people, my husband cracked his head repeatedly over the stay and even I did once in the kids room and i’m only 5.3! It’s a bit if an awkward layout with one of the bedrooms on the lower ground floor, it has no windows but a glass door which leads onto the main lounge with the tv. Beds weren’t particularly comfy and the neighbours were really noisy, but the houses are packed cheek by jowl so no ones fault. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would say this is more for a weekend break than a long holiday.

  • "Bramble Cottage is a delight."

Beautifully presented with everything we needed for our stay, while still maintaining the charm and original features of a cottage of its age. The cottage has been tastefully and carefully maintained by its owners, it is comfortable with plenty of space to relax and recharge. The view from both sides is beautiful, making you want to stop and relax and take it all in. Parking close to the cottage is a bonus. We would highly recommend this property, we stayed for 2 nights, although there is enough space and amenities to accommodate a much longer self-catering stay.
