The cottage was immaculate and had absolutely everything you could think of. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was lovely and warm which was a blessing seeing as we stayed over Christmas. Cant wait to go back we didn't want to leave!

A superb, traditional fisherman's terraced cottage with stunning sea views, tucked away in the picturesque village of Robin Hood's Bay.

This first-class property has been lovingly renovated to retain many original features, including the cast iron range in the kitchen, exposed beams and stripped floorboards.

Tastefully furnished and decorated, the cottage boasts two sitting rooms, one with a living flame gas stove and door to a sunny patio, and three lovely bedrooms, with the single room boasting a quirky built-in bed, every little person's dream!

The shops, tea rooms and inns of this smugglers' village are all on the doorstep, and the beach with its rock pools and coves is a two minute walk.

About the location

ROBIN HOOD’S BAY

Whitby 6 miles; Scarborough 17 miles.

Robin Hood's Bay, with its narrow cobbled streets and quaint cottages, is one of the most picturesque villages on the English coastline. Situated between Scarborough and Whitby, this charming old fishing village is to be found nestling at the edge of a wide sweeping bay backed by spectacular cliffs and dramatic moorland scenery, and was once home to author Leo Walmsley. All holidaymakers will love the beach and its cliff-top walks, whilst more serious walkers will enjoy the many long distance trails that pass through the Cleveland Way, the Lyke Wake Walk and the Coast to Coast walks which all take in Robin Hood’s Bay. The village amenities are superb, with charming alleyways to explore and plenty of places to rest, relax and take refreshment. A perfect base for enjoying the Yorkshire Coast.
