  • "We arrived at 3."

30, 30 minutes after check in. The place was hard to find. As luck would have it, we asked someone working in a garage if they knew where it was, and that just happened to be the owner. He was confused as he wasn't expecting anyone in the house til Monday 4th September, and we were booked for Saturday 2nd, and he hadn't had his cleaner in. We went for an hours walk while he did the cleaning himself. The house is small, but perfect. A decent sized living/kithchen/dining area, and a good sized bathroom with a good shower. The bedroom was more than spacious enough and the bed, extremely comfy. We slept very well. An outside table would have been great bonus because we sat out on the Friday night for a couple of nightcaps. There's plenty space for one. Also, there's a quite high step over into the kitchen area and toilet. This is actually quite dangerous, despite the 'mind the step' signs. My partner tripped over this quite a lot and probably broke his toe. On the whole, a very nice place to stay, just at the top of Robin Hoods Bay. I'd definitely stay again.

  • "Perfect location for Robin Hood Bay."

Easy parking and access to the amazing walks and shore and to the bus. The bus is the best way to travel. Very cosy chalet with lovely wood panelling. We had a most comfortable week

  • "Fabulous stay."

Great parking. The couch is not comfortable though and a washing machine and iron would have been good.

  • "Lovely stay, lovely cabin."

Only downside was the door didn't fit properly so it was drafty. Other than that we had a great time :)

  • "An ideal cottage for a quiet break."

Well positioned for walk/cycle routes and lovely pubs/restaurants. The cottage was very clean, warm and comfortable the only downside was the settee had lost all its support when you sat on it and the gap when the front door was closed let an awful draft in. If these things were sorted it would have been 10/10.

So warm and comfy. Everything you need is there, tea towel washing up liquid paper towels even though I'd brought my own

Downside was the bed it had the most uncomfortable mattress we have ever slept on ,also the hob was slow and needed updating . (Not that we did much cooking ) Enjoyed our 4 nights couldn’t have slept any longer on that bed though!
