“Asked at check in if knew about ...”
Asked at check in if knew about security deposit to be paid, said not aware and was not enforced. Not ideal having to share hoover with other cottages, not available when we went to use, guess being used by other cottages.

High Farm Cottages

Beverley 4.5 miles. These six, delightful barn conversions are situated on a tranquil holiday park, between Beverley and Hornsea in East Yorkshire. Throughout these high-quality conversions are tastefully-maintained beamed ceilings, along with well-equipped kitchens and spacious sitting areas where you can kick back and watch a dvd. All bedrooms have excellent en-suite facilities, with walk-in showers or baths where you can enjoy a relaxing soak after a busy day. These wonderful conversions are centred round a beautifully landscaped, communal courtyard, though each one also has its own private patio where you can sit out and enjoy the sunshine. On site is a 2.5 acre fishing pond, a nine-hole golf course, a petting farm and a bowling green. You can also take bracing walks through the scenic surrounding pastures. Assuming you can tear yourself away from the tranquillity of the grounds, an excellent pub can be found a short walk away and in the neighbouring village of Tickton. Just five miles west is the open beauty of Beverley Westwood whilst the city of Hull, 2017 City of Culture, is just 10 miles to the south. The properties can be booked individually, or booked together to accommodate much larger groups of friends or families. They can be booked at any time of the year and are perfect for sampling the joys of the East Riding of Yorkshire

The property

This spacious, ground floor barn conversion is a beautiful holiday base for families, friends and couples.

It has a bright, social kitchen/diner with a breakfast bar and two stools, as well as a dining table.

The room has exposed beams, floor-to-ceiling windows, and is well equipped for preparing delicious meals and fun picnics with local produce.

There is a lovely sitting room where everyone can gather to discuss the day or simply relax with a good book, whilst at the other side of the property are two wonderful bedrooms.

The twin room has an en-suite shower, and the master bedroom has a king-size bed, a double sofa bed and an en-suite spa bath where you can soothe aching muscles after a long walk.

There is also a feature barn door and a marvellous brick wall that works as a half partition between the two halves of the room.

Retaining its character, this side of the barn was originally a pig sty and you can still see the opening in the brick wall, where the pigs could move from one half and the other!

An excellent choice for visitors to East Yorkshire!

Note: This property can be booked with Ref. 961577, 961670, 961672, 961673 and 961674, together they sleep 24.
