    “We were happy with the cottage.”

    It would have been nice to have a welcome pack though with just a few essentials such as milk and bread.We were disappointed that the wi-fi had been taken out of the cottage for some reason but other than that we had a lovely week.The cottage was very comfortable and cosy.

The property

Situated on a main road, in the pretty village of Stainsacre, near the historic, seaside town of Whitby, is this delightful annexe.

The historic town of Whitby provides an array of attractions for you to explore, the best of which would be the famous Whitby Abbey.

Perched on a clifftop, with extensive views across the town and coastline, you are in for a treat inside, as it was said to have been the home of the first known English poet and the inspiration for Dracula.

Visit the wonderful Captain Cook Museum housing many historical displays from Cook's life and voyages to the South Pacific.

whilst the Whitby Museum showcases all artefacts from the local history.

The 199 stone steps is also within reach and challenges even the most sporty types to try and make it to the top and discover sweeping views of the town.
