“10 The Cottage Saltburn is ...”

10 The Cottage Saltburn is centrally placed within the town and as such is a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars. The beach is a short stroll down a woodland slope (much easier to cope with than the many steps further along the prom). The cottage is well equipped and comfortable and we wanted for nothing, although the owner txted us to check we had everything we needed. We love Saltburn and the surrounding area, its a delightful ‘Victorian’ seaside town with lots of character and none of the raucous amusements of more well known coastal resorts. Dogs are made welcome in the town and as we walked around there were bowls of fresh water outside shops, bars and even private homes! We loved The KIngs Grill (fabulous food), Vista Mar (amazing tapas) and the micro pub The Guns. Further out in Marske we visited the Wynd Cafe daily after our beach walk and walked round Errington Woods. We will return!
